Some stars are just really down to earth people, and country sensation Lainey Wilson, 33, just proved she is one of them. The "Things a Man Oughta Know" singer has been performing for over a decade, but skyrocketed to fame after appearing on popular TV show Yellowstone in 2019.
The entertainer has kept her humility; fans who were lucky enough to meet her praise her as one of the most friendly and humble artists they had the opportunity to mingle with. Recently Wilson lived up to the hyper after honoring a special audience member she noticed in her crowd."I leave for the US Army next month," Wilson read off of fan Ciarra Maynard's sign. "Well thank you so much."
She then proceeded to invite her up to the stage to take a photo and eventually fully pulled her up on stage to honor her before she shipped out.
She then sweetly told her "Because of people like you I get to do what I do and that just means the world to me," with the crowd chanting USA, USA in the background. Fans sent an out-pouring of love to the young girl as well as commending Wilson for her kindness.
"That's beautiful makes me cry. Lainey is a rockstar," wrote one fan.
"Thank you for serving our country," said another directly to Maynard. "Lainey Wilson is the BEST! So down to earth! Glad you had a great memory that night!"
Maynard herself posted the photos and footage from the night in gratitude to the country singer.
