PETALING JAYA: Rider Azroy Hakeem Anuar (pic) gave the Malaysian crowd plenty to cheer for after securing a sensational double win in Round 2 of the Asia Road Racing Championship (ARRC). Racing for Idemitsu Honda Racing Malaysia in the ASB1000 category, Azroy took the win in Race 2 with a time of 25:23.640s at the Sepang International Circuit yesterday, ahead of JDT Racing Team's Hafizh Syahrin Abdullah, who clocked 25:24.408s.

PETALING JAYA: Rider Azroy Hakeem Anuar found his groove as he led a rare all-local sweep of the podium in Race 1 of Round 2 in the ASB1000 category of the Asia Road Racing Championship. Starting third from the pole, Azroy of the Idemitsu Honda Racing Malaysia got off to a brilliant start to immediately take control of the race and pulled away to cross the line unchallenged with a time of 25:22.336s at the Sepang International Circuit yesterday.
