Woman Threatens To Cut Husband Into ‘55 Pieces' For Coming Between Her And PUBG Lover

Last Updated: Aradhana became addicted to PUBG after a few months of marriage and met Shivam through the game. Amid the ongoing social media storm over the topic of 'husband killings', a disturbing case has surfaced from Uttar Pradesh's Banda district. A woman named Aradhana allegedly threatened to kill her husband, Sheelu, if he tried to separate her from her 'online lover'. The twist? She reportedly met her lover, Shivam, while playing the online game PUBG (now BGMI in India). According to reports, Aradhana and Shivam developed a romantic relationship through the gaming platform, which eventually led to friction in her marriage. What followed has shocked many, as the incident adds a troubling dimension to the already fiery debate on spousal violence. What Happened? According to reports, Shivam is from Punjab's Ludhiana and came to Mahoba to meet Aradhana at her in-laws' house. The lover's unannounced arrival came as a big shock to the husband as well as his family. However, things took an ugly turn when Aradhana insisted on leaving her husband and child to live with her online lover. Furthermore, it has also been alleged that she threatened to kill her husband. Aradhana said that if he (Sheelu) stepped between her and her lover, she would cut him into '55 tukde' (pieces) and place him in a drum, similar to the Meerut murder case. How did Aradhana and Shivam's Love story begin? As per The Free Press Journal report, Aradhana became addicted to PUBG after a few months of marriage and met Shivam through the game. He was from Ludhiana, Punjab, and their gaming relationship eventually blossomed into love. Upon hearing from Aradhana that her husband had beaten her, Shivam couldn't control his anger and reached Mahoba. Later on, a fight broke out between him and Sheelu, which led to a Police complaint and Shivam was taken into custody. A high-voltage drama: Following the custody, a dramatic scene broke out at the Tehsil office after the police escorted Shivam to the SDM (Sub-Divisional Magistrate) Court. Aradhana followed them to Sadar Tehsil and insisted on going with her 'online lover'. She also accused her husband of domestic violence and being an alcoholic. According to The Free Press Journal, Shivam has been booked under Section 151 of the Criminal Procedure Code (for disturbing public peace) and the officials also presented him before the magistrate. Further investigation is underway. First Published:
