Nandini retains 4th position among Indian brands: Report
Bengaluru: Karnataka Milk Federation's brand Nandini has retained fourth position in the food and beverages category alongside leading brands in India, according to the 2025 rankings released by Brand Finance, the world's leading brand valuation consultancy. Headquartered in London and operating in over 25 countries, Brand Finance conducts more than 6,000 brand valuations annually, supported by original market research and over 100 sector-specific reports. 'In its latest report, Nandini has demonstrated remarkable progress, climbing from 43 in 2024 to 38 in 2025 among the Top 100 Most Valuable Indian Brands. The brand's valuation rose to USD 1,079 million, reflecting an impressive increase of USD 139 million in brand value over the previous year,' Karnataka Milk Federation (KMF) said in a statement. According to KMF, in the Food and Beverages category, Nandini has retained its fourth position, standing alongside leading brands such as Amul (#1), Mother Dairy (#2), Britannia (#3) and Dabur (#5). A brand value ranking is a comprehensive list that measures the monetary worth of brands using a combination of valuation methodologies. It reflects factors such as brand strength, customer loyalty, market share, and overall brand equity. High rankings signify strong brand perception, consistent performance, and a solid market presence, it stated. Nandini's sustained performance and growth in valuation underscore its increasing brand equity and the trust it commands among consumers across south India and beyond, it added. The brand, owned by Karnataka Milk Federation (KMF), has also retained its fourth place in the competitive food & beverages category, standing alongside national giants like Amul (1), Mother Dairy (2), and Britannia (3). According to Brand Finance, a global brand valuation consultancy headquartered in London, Nandini's brand valuation rose to $1,079 million this year, marking a $139 million increase from 2024. The annual rankings assess the financial strength and brand value of over 6,000 companies globally using original market research and sector-specific reports. A brand's value, the report notes, is calculated based on brand strength, customer loyalty, market share, and overall brand equity. High-ranking brands typically enjoy strong perception, consistent performance, and deep consumer trust. KMF cakes, introduced in variety of flavours, a big hit
Bengaluru: On the occasion of International Milk Day, Karnataka Cooperative Milk Producers Federation (KMF) has introduced new products. The Food and Agriculture Organization (FAO) celebrates World Milk Day every year on June 1 to create awareness and awareness about the importance of milk and to promote the dairy sector. In this regard, KMF also celebrated Milk Day. At the same time, KMF Managing Director B Shivaswamy launched 18 new products in three types. Muffins, Bar Cake and Slice Cake, Sponge Vanilla Cake products have been launched. Slice cake has different flavours like Fruit, Vanilla, Pineapple, Choco, Orange. Currently, only 30 and 50 gram slice cakes have been launched in the market. A maximum price of Rs. 10 has been fixed for a 25 gram packet of Sponge Vanilla Cake. Muffins cake, which children love, has come to the market with vanilla, chocolate, pineapple, strawberry and mawa flavours. It has been launched in the market at a price of Rs. 50 for 150 grams of muffins cake. About eight more types of cakes are ready to come to the market. Nandini, a trusted brand of people in the country and abroad, is the prestige of Karnataka. Nandini products that come to the market without compromising on quality have become the favourite of the people. For this reason, KMF's products are giving a tough time to private enterprises. Today, new products have been added to this. KMF conducted a Paneer cooking competition on the occasion of International Milk Day. Murali of Oggarane Dabbi fame and his wife Suchitra were the judges for this competition. Prizes were distributed to the winners.

Cakes to muffins, KMF launches new line of bakery products
BENGALURU: Marking World Milk Day on Sunday, the Karnataka Milk Federation (KMF) launched a new line of bakery products under the Nandini Goodlife brand, including 18 varieties of muffins, slice cakes, and bar cakes. The newly introduced bakery products are part of KMF's push to replace private-brand items in its Nandini parlours with in-house offerings. First introduced in January 2021 with bread and buns, the federation now expanded to include dairy-enriched baked goods like cakes and muffins. Key products in the new range include slice cakes in fruit, vanilla, pineapple, and choco-orange flavours, available in 30g and 50g packs, priced between Rs 15 and Rs 20. Vanilla sponge cake has been priced at Rs 10. The event, held at the KMF headquarters, also featured a Nandini Paneer Cooking Competition, where winners were felicitated by KMF managing director B Shivaswamy. Shivaswamy said that the products are being launched in attractive packaging to attract children and also to compete with similar brands and will soon be available in Nandini parlours across Karnataka.
