G-Dragon REACTS to allegations that BTS's J-Hope ‘copied' him
After BTS member J-Hope was accused of 'copying' BIGBANG's G-Dragon during Paris Fashion Week, the latter has finally responded in a way that has managed to garner a lot of attention online. Earlier this week, J-Hope, along with various other names in K-pop like GOT7's Jackson, Mark and BamBam , attended the Paris Fashion Week. While most were excited about the attendance, some netizens were quick to accuse the BTS rapper of 'copying' G-Dragon's style. A video of the idol taken by a fan had gone viral online after he was seen entering and exiting a popular luxury brand's headquarters. While covered in bling head to toe, most fans were delighted to see the idol's new style. The video, however, earned a lot of criticism after fans of G-Dragon called him out, saying that the new style was a direct copy of what the BIGBANG member has been doing for years. G-Dragon reacts While netizens were criticising J-Hope for his new style at Paris Fashion Week, it was G-Dragon who made the first move in the most subtle way. The BIGBANG member ended up liking a post that featured the BTS member in Paris, thus putting an end to the speculations and showing his support for the 'Killin' It Girl' singer himself. Fans react G-Dragon's activity on social media garnered a lot of attention, both positive and negative. While some cited that the idol was showing his support to put an end to unnecessary hate, others started criticising him instead. Some netizens, however, took over and defended both of the idols, calling people out for saying that the situation is being blown out of proportion. One fan commented, 'Why can't you accept they have a healthy senior and junior relationship?. And even without this, Gd likes everything; I got a few from him too, so I'm being stalked by him?'

While he did not share many details about his new project, fans immediately concluded that V is part of the third season of Netflix's hit survival drama, Squid Game. Before the new season was released, global searches for 'V Squid Game cameo" surged. Fans scrutinised the trailer and every behind-the-scenes clip, convinced they had spotted clues hinting at V's appearance. Despite all the buzz for years, the BTS star was not a part of Squid Game 3. As the new season premiered on the streaming platform on Friday, June 27, ARMYs frantically searched for V's appearance in the show, but there was none. He neither had a cameo nor was seen in the background. Fans took to social media to express their disappointment, with some even playfully sharing that they were fooled by their own excitement. Rumours of V's appearance in the hit show have been doing rounds on the internet for years. It all began when the singer decided to surprise fans by wearing the quintessential pink jumpsuit, worn by guards in the show, complete with a mask he removed dramatically during a BTS' Permission to Dance on Stage' concert in 2022. The moment went viral in no time, and many took it as a hint of a collaboration between V and Squid Game. This buzz gained momentum further when Squid Game's Lee Jung Jae, who portrayed Player 456 aka Seong Gi Hun, and Wi Ha Joon, who played Jun Ho, were asked about V's involvement during an interview with BuzzFeed UK in January. While neither confirmed anything, their silence only added fuel to the fire. Jung Jae said, 'I can't say anything about that," while Ha Joon added, 'No comment." On June 20, the BTS star, who made his acting debut with Hwarang: The Poet Warrior Youth, gave fans a glimpse of his post-military life. During this interaction, he shared an update regarding his new project, saying, 'This is probably… Maybe if we wait a little longer, I think it'll come out. But it's not really a big deal. While the idol has chosen to keep all activities under wraps, his vacation photos have brought an onslaught of criticism along with malicious comments. On June 25 and 26, netizens had been flooding his dog's account with harsh and majorly homophobic comments. The comments mainly targeted the idol for spending time with Jimin and for not focusing on his solo activities. BTS ARMY come to the rescue Fans of the idol soon came to his rescue. Many reported the malicious comments and flooded the comments section with messages of love and support in order to make sure that the 'SEVEN' singer does not come across the mean posts. One fan comment read, 'Jungkook, you're doing a great job! We are so proud! Don't worry, you'll get over it soon! We are always on your side! I am proud of you always! We love you infinitely. If the world seems too noisy, let us be your silence. Real armies are always with you! Stop thinking about people who only try to pull you down. They're not even an army, they're just traitors.' However, some solo stans of Jungkook weren't having it and demanded he focus on his individual projects instead of trying to do things to please shippers. Jimin and Jungkook's latest whereabouts Jungkook has been allegedly spending time with Jimin since their military service completion. From joint overseas travelling to Jungkook filming reels videos for Jimin and drawing his caricature, the BTS duo have been doing fun activities together. Their international trip was also linked to the filming of Season 2 of their popular variety show, Are You Sure?! Although they seem to have been using it as an unwinding session, some individuals had harsh reactions to that. Why is Jimin and Jungkook's latest activities being called fan service?
