A surprising throwback involving SRK
It turns out that Chikki Panday isn't just known for being Chunky Panday's younger brother. According to a Hindustan Times report, he once helped Bollywood superstar
Shah Rukh Khan
during a very difficult moment. As per the report, back in 1994, Shah Rukh Khan was arrested for threatening a journalist who had written an article in a magazine that SRK found insulting.
The actor was taken into police custody.
Surprisingly, it was Chikki and actor
Nana Patekar
who came to SRK's rescue. They arranged for his bail and helped get him out of jail.
Who is Chikki Panday?
Chikki Panday, whose full name is Aloke Sharad Panday, is a businessman and philanthropist. He is not often seen in front of the camera and usually stays away from the glamour of Bollywood, but he has strong connections within the film industry.
