He was once again in the news as he recently became the first Indian to own a Lamborghini Urus that is approximately valued at a whopping Rs 5.21 crore. View this post on Instagram A post shared by Car Crazy India® (@ Speaking about how he does not like publicising his luxury car purchases online, he added that somehow the media always leaks it. He told Humans of Bombay, "When I bought the Lamborghini, I had clearly told the dealer not to put press there. However, they had their in-house photographer. Now, the minute they uploaded it on their site, the media took it. How can I stop this? I am lucky that I can afford all this." Speaking of spending money on such purchases without thinking, once one is able to afford it, he added, "I have always been a crazy petrol-head. I have really been into cars and bikes. People who are into cars and bikes like me, and people who can afford, them mostly have these collections. The difference is mine is talked about, while my friends who have better collections than me are not in the public eye, because they mostly belong to the corporate world, theirs are not talked about. So, if someone is a petrol-head like me, once you can afford it without thinking, you will have it because I don't like spending money on anything except that." Expressing his love for watches and cars, Ram Kapoor shared, "Watches and cars are the only things I love, so people who can afford these watches have fantastic watch collections. It's just that a lot of people who have it, like to keep quiet about it. Even if we want to keep quiet unfortunately because I am in the public eye, the media gets to know about it. Yes, I do have a car collection. I have a Ferrari, a Porsche but the thing is we don't like to show it off." Ram Kapoor On Co-Stars Sakshi Tanwar And Ronit Roy And Their Financial Status Ram Kapoor went on to talk about the pay disparity between movie stars and television actors. He mentioned that it's not likely that their paychecks will be the same. However, if an actor has a hit show for 7-8 years and has been on the top, then the actor's monthly paycheck is equal to the salary for 8 years. He said, "People like me, Sakshi and Ronit, if you have been on television for 20 years and are sensible, then you have made enough for at least 3-4 generations." In A Nutshell Ram Kapoor has an estimated net worth of Rs 135 crore and is one of the most popular names in Indian television. He recently spoke about his love for cars and watches and how he has built enough wealth to support four generations.

Ram Kapoor opens up about on how rich TV stars are; says 'Ronit Roy has vacation homes, Sakshi Tanwar has saved for generations'

Ram Kapoor , who is one of the popular names of the television industry and has been part of successful shows like Kasamh Se, Bade Acche Lagte Hain, recently opened up about the money television actors make by working in daily soaps. During a podcast with Humans of Bombay, Ram pointed out that the income made from successful television shows has the potential to secure the future of several generations. However, he also highlighted that careless handling of finances can result in a downfall in one's professional journey. He said, "When you make it to the top like Ronit Roy , Sakshi, and me, and you are sensible with your investments… There were a lot of people who had hit shows, but they spent more money than they should have, and when that show shut down they didn't get another show. They did not do well and disappeared." The Udaan actor also appreciated fellow actor Ronit Roy for making wise and thoughtful investments, 'People like a Ronit… he has a lot of houses, vacation homes, and such a fantastic villa in Goa. He has been sensible because he started in films and he didn't make it in films. He was a flop actor in films and he didn't have money to eat. Then Ektaa Kapoor took him on. On television, he never looked back. He had seen failure so when he got success, he respected it from day one," he said. Not just Ronit Roy, Ram also mentioned about Sakshi Tanwar 's simple and sensible way of living. He said, 'Same for Sakshi. She is a very sensible girl. She doesn't like fancy cars like I do. She has enough money for six generations because she spends it very wisely. If you spend money wisely, then you will have money for a lot of things on television." Ram Kapoor began his acting journey on television with the show Nyaay in 1999. Over the years, he appeared in several popular serials such as Heena, Ghar Ek Mandir, Kabhi Aaye Na Judaai, and the widely loved Bade Acche Lagte Hain. Apart from television, he has also been part of Bollywood films including Karthik Calling Karthik, Agent Vinod, Student of the Year, and Humshakals. Ronit Roy thanks Amitabh Bachchan, Akshay Kumar and Karan Johar for timely payments to his security agency during pandemic

Ram Kapoor ‘will not say a word' about Ekta Kapoor weeks after their face-off, says he owes his career to her: ‘She believed in me when…

Ekta Kapoor is arguably the most well-known individual in the Indian television sphere, with shows like Bade Achhe Lagte Hain, Kumkum Bhagya and Pavitra Rishta under her belt. On the other corner is actor Ram Kapoor, who has been the face of Indian television for more than 20 years. The duo started locking horns earlier this year, when Ekta clapped back at Ram for talking about shooting intimate scenes for Bade Acche Lagte Hain. In a recent interview, Ram weighed in on the entire episode and refused to continue this back and forth with Ekta. In an interview with NDTV, Ram, who has worked with Ekta on shows like Bade Achhe Lagte Hain and Kasamh Se, addressed the entire confrontation between him and Ekta and her comments about him in particular. The actor made it clear that he does not want to add anything else to the conversation and stated that he does not mind Ekta's comments about his career or personal life. 'She can say whatever she wants to, but I will not say a word. Because at the end of the day, she gave me what no one gave me. She believed in me when nobody else did. And for that, I will always be grateful. She has the right to say whatever she wants to about me till the end of my career.' ALSO READ: Ram Kapoor says 'nothing is impossible' as he divides the internet with his toned physique: 'Looking like Karan Johar in…' To give some context, this entire bout started back when Ram made an appearance on Siddharth Kannan's podcast and talked about shooting an intimate scene with co-star Sakshi Tanwar on the sets of Bade Achhe Lagte Hain. Ram admitted that he felt uncomfortable shooting the scene and was also worried about how the audience would react to it. He expressed these feelings to Ekta, but the producer was confident about the scene and decided to go ahead with it. Soon after the comment, Ekta posted a cryptic message about 'unprofessional actors' on social media, and all fans were pretty sure of who she was talking about. Several jabs at Ram's drastic weight loss and clapbacks from Ram's wife, Gautami Kapoor, also followed. To add fuel to the fire, actor Amar Upadhyay also had a problem with Ram's comments about his career. During the same podcast, Ram had shared a story of how he had advised Amar against leaving television and called his move to films the wrong decision. Amar was quick to revert and said that he has enough on his plate when it comes to work and Ram needn't worry about his career. Apart from this interesting episode, Ram will next be seen in the web series Mistry, which will premiere on JioHotstar on June 27. The show is an adaptation of the award-winning US show Monk, and instead of Tony Shalhoub, we will be seeing Ram playing the role of the germaphobe, eccentric and brilliant detective.

Ram Kapoor reacts to reports of fallout with Ektaa Kapoor; says 'She can say whatever she wants, she believed in me when nobody else did'

Ram Kapoor and Ektaa Kapoor share a long-standing association and have together, given some chart breaking TV shows like Kasamh Se and Bade Acche Lagte Hain. However, a few months ago, their equation turned sour after Ram's comment on intimate scenes in Bade Achhe Lagte Hain which did not go down well with Ektaa Kapoor. Later, the TV czarina indirectly, without taking his name, referred to Ram as 'unprofessional actors' in one of her Instagram posts. Tensions intensified when Ram's wife, actress Gautami Kapoor , appeared to take a sly jab at Ekta Kapoor in her response. The controversy quickly became a hot topic, making headlines and leaving fans divided in their opinions. Ram has finally broken his silence and reacted to his fallout with Ektaa Kapoor. While talking to NDTV, Ram said, "She can say whatever she wants to, but I will not say a word. Because at the end of the day, she gave me what no one gave me." He went on to express heartfelt gratitude towards Ektaa for believing in him, "She believed in me when nobody else did. And for that, I will always be grateful. She has the right to say whatever she wants to about me till the end of my career." The Student Of The Year actor, also reacted to Gautami's response video for Ektaa, "My wife knows where I stand. It was all in good fun. You cannot forget what someone has done for you." The conflict started when Ram hinted in an interview that Ekta had to face the consequences of the romantic scenes in Bade Achhe Lagte Hain. Ekta hit back strongly on social media, writing, 'Unprofessional actors giving interviews about my shows should shut up. False information and skewed stories can only last till I talk. But there is dignity in silence." Ektaa also shared a video mocking Ram Kapoor's drastic weight loss. She playfully referred to the show's title by saying, 'Humein bade hi acche lagte hain.'
