Rolls-Royce driving Swansea businessman faces jail
Harman Basainty, 26, pleaded guilty to driving dangerously on the A449 in Monmouthshire and trying to wriggle out of it by perverting the course of justice.
He committed that second offence by providing false information as to who was driving the Rolls-Royce.
The offences were committed between September 6, 2024 and October 8, 2024, Cardiff Crown Court was told.
Basainty, of Heol Ddu, Tirdeunaw, Swansea was told by Judge Vanessa Francis: 'These are very serious offences.'
He could, she added, be sent to prison for them when he is sentenced later this month on July 29.
The defendant was granted bail after the case was adjourned for the preparation of a probation report.
Basainty was represented by Tom Crowther KC and the prosecution by Daniel Jones.
