Jeffrey Epstein files won't ‘break apart' MAGA base
Journalist Batya Ungar-Sargon challenges the 'obsession' surrounding the Jeffrey Epstein files, arguing it won't 'break apart' the MAGA base. 'I have to say I'm with the President on this, I don't know why people are so obsessed with this story,' Ms Ungar-Sargon told Sky News host Rita Panahi. 'I don't think the average American is thinking about the Jeffrey Epstein file, I think they're thinking about whether groceries are going to go up, I think they're thinking about whether they're going to be able to afford presents for Christmas. 'Anyone who's bothered by this should keep pushing for it, I totally support that and I totally respect it, I just don't see this breaking apart the MAGA base.'

‘Tariffs not inflationary': Trump's plan will allow US to live ‘American dream'
Journalist Batya Ungar-Sargon discusses a fresh wave of tariffs imposed by United States President Donald Trump and praises their effectiveness. 'Many countries have had tariffs on our goods, for very good reason, because tariffs protect your own workers,' Ms Ungar-Sargon told Sky News host Rita Panahi. 'What a tariff does is it effectively says that the product of the labour of the American worker deserves to be competitive in the global marketplace. 'Things might get more expensive, but if that means my kid has a better shot at and a better future of the American dream, I'm happy to pay that. 'It was just an added bonus that it turned out that the tariffs were not inflationary.'

‘They were taking our jobs': US employment skyrockets as ICE crackdown continues
Journalist Batya Ungar-Sargon discusses US President Donald Trump's whopping creation of 147,000 new jobs across the country in June. 'It turns out, they actually were taking out jobs,' Ms Ungar-Sargon told Sky News host Rita Panahi. 'For five years, I've been making this argument that illegal migrants are undercutting the wages of working-class Americans. 'There's this narrative on the left that they are taking the jobs Americans will not do, or don't want to do and it's absolute nonsense.'

‘All the predictions were wrong': Trump continues to ‘make good' on tariff plans
Journalist Batya Ungar-Sargon says 'everyone was wrong' regarding the effectiveness of Trump's tariff plans. 'He had a theory of the case for how to improve the lives of working-class Americans,' Ms Ungar-Sargon told Sky News host Rita Panahi. 'What we are seeing right now is him just making good again and again and again on that theory. 'The entire economic expert class was against this from the get-go and warned that everything he is doing was going to cause massive inflation, and it turned out that every single one of them was wrong and Donald Trump was right. 'He's been talking about this for 40 years, about how tariffs actually improve the lot of working-class people in so many different ways. 'All of the predictions were wrong.'
