Here's When ‘King Of The Hill' And ‘Beavis And Butt-Head' Return And Where To Watch
Beavis and Butt-Head Everything old is new again. Nowhere is this more true than the world of animation. Mike Judge has two animated series returning after many years: King Of The Hill returns after fifteen years – 'Return of the dang ol' king,' as Boomhauer says in the trailer, with Hank and Peggy Hill and friends reuniting in a much-changed Arlen, TX. The new season makes its way to Hulu with ten new episodes on August 4th. It features Hank Hill's return to Arlen after taking a propane (and propane accessories) job in Saudi Arabia. The world they return to has changed in startling ways, including fruity beer and 'all-gender bathrooms' and Uber drivers desperate for 5-star reviews. One month later, Judge's other famous animated series Beavis and Butt-Head lands on Comedy Central for the third season of its revival series (the first two can be streamed on Paramount+). A trailer for the new season, which features our titular characters in various stages of life and health, was released Thursday morning: I was more of a King Of The Hill guy than a Beavis and Butt-Head guy – other kids ruined it by doing their annoying voices all the time at school – but both these trailers made me chuckle. 'One gold bar will do!' You kind of got what you asked for, Metallica. Beavis and Butt-Head lands on Comedy Central on September 3rd. Creator Mike Judge will reprise his roles in both series, as Hank Hill, Beavis, Butt-Head and many of the other characters.

‘Beavis & Butt-Head' Are Coming To ‘Call Of Duty'
Call Of Duty Get ready for the most annoying voice-lines in Call Of Duty history. Mike Judge's infamous duo, Beavis & Butt-Head, are headed to the first-person shooter. Soon, matches of Black Ops 6 and Warzone will be overrun with the foul-mouthed pair. Now, when you're gunned down in the final circle, don't be surprised if the words 'I am cornholio!' ring in your ears. I am of two minds about this latest collaboration. On the one hand, I think all of these crossovers are kind of fun and funny and sometimes just very bizarre (Seth Rogen is an odd choice; Ninja Turtles and Squid Game, less so). On the other hand, I'm firmly in the camp that believes a military shooter benefits in a big way from a grittier, more realistic aesthetic. The solution to this, of course, is to have a toggle that players can switch on and off allowing you to turn all these garrish crossover skins into default mil-sim operators on your end. We already have the ability to turn off all the bright, loud 'dismemberment effects' (and I highly recommend you do so) and this would be just another level of player choice. Players who enjoy watching Beavis go toe-to-toe with the Transformers could have that still. Players who want only military-adjacent looking operators could have that. The balance might be tricky. Activision would either have to designate which skins and operators fit in which category or simply have an option that turned off all non-default skins and made all bonus operators look like a generic operator. But I think it's still a very viable option. Beavis & Butt-Head are a good example of why this is important to players. For those of us who want some kind of approximation of a military combat, outlandish skins are immersion-breaking. But characters like this take it a step further. Some people love Beavis & Butt-Head but I find them insufferable, though I can't pin the blame on the cartoon necessarily. All I can think about are the two kids in my junior high who only talked in Beavis & Butt-Head voices. Obnoxious is not a strong enough word. It used to be that the most we had to deal with was the release of the new Snoop Dogg skin each year, when suddenly every match was dominated by the famous rapper. I can live with that. Can I live with hearing 'TP for your bunghole' every time some 15-year-old sweat pwns me in a match?
