Speaking in Shivamogga, he mocked the opposition leader's accent, saying it's improper. The response came after BJP criticised Madhu Bangarappa over his Kannada knowledge.
Meanwhile, the minister announced that the cabinet has approved Rs 300 crore for various development projects in Bhadravathi and Soraba taluks in Shivamogga. He criticised BJP's approach to development, saying they only talk about it but don't deliver, and mocked BJP leaders, the state unit chief BY Vijayendra and Shivamogga MP BY Raghavendra, saying they can't match govt's development work. He emphasised that govt is working hard to deliver projects and improve the lives of citizens, and urged the public to focus on development and progress rather than engaging in petty criticisms.
He also criticised BS Yediyurappa's sons over the poor condition of McGann District Hospital.
