Celtic-linked Kvistgaarden 'chooses' transfer destination
The 23-year-old has long been mentioned as a potential transfer option for the Parkhead club. He will depart Brondby this summer, yet not for Lens, as was initially believed. Indeed, although the French club agreed terms with Brondby over a switch and 'did everything to convince' Kvistgaarden to move to Ligue 1, he has chosen to sign for Norwich, claims footmercato. Kvistgaarden will look to spearhead their bid for a return to the Premier League, with him having scored 17 goals in 29 Danish Superligaen appearances last season. His hot form gained attention, to the point that Brondby's sports director, Benjamin Schmedes, had to issue an update on his future last month: "It doesn't surprise me that there is great interest in him from many teams," he said. "But I can't say that he is close to being sold or that he is far from being sold either. "That's because it is an ongoing process, and the most important thing is that we are very transparent in our dialogue with each other."
