Oreo and Reese's bow to fans' decade-long demand for treat they've been 'begging' for
Snack lovers are raving over the sweet team-up between Oreo and Reese's — a pairing fans have waited years for. The two iconic brands have joined forces to launch Oreo Cups and Reese's Cookies, limited-time treats that blend the best of both worlds. The new goodies have quickly gone viral, with fans calling them the snack mashup of the decade. Social media buzzed in the days leading up to the release, as sharp-eyed followers spotted subtle hints — like blue and orange accents popping up on each brand's Instagram page. Oreo and Reese's also started following and hyping each other's posts, fueling speculation of a major collab. Now that the treats are finally here, fans are calling it a snack dream come true. 'This is the greatest day of my existence,' one Instagram user wrote. 'My all-time favorite is Reese's and my son's is Oreo — this is the combo we needed!' another posted. The rollout is limited, but the hype is anything but. Whether you're Team Peanut Butter or Team Creme-Filled Cookie, this sweet pairing is winning over hearts — and taste buds — everywhere. Oreo has been going hard with limited-time cookies, releasing products made through collaborations with Selena Gomez and Benny Blanco, as well as Post Malone. With cookie fans having been devastated over the axe of Oreo O's cereal, the brand is hoping the collaboration will cheer them up. 'This collaboration redefines what it means to be a snacking leader by tapping into exactly what our fans are asking for,' said Michelle Deignan, vice president, of Oreo, US. 'As a 110+ year-old brand, we're constantly looking for ways to disrupt the snacking market. What better way to show our fans we listen to their evolving snacking needs than to partner with the REESE'S brand to deliver the collab of their dreams.' Reese's fans had already rejoiced over it's limited-edition red velvet cups. With fans fueling the fire, the brand realized it was time for the team up dreams to come true. 'When we heard the incredible demand for a Reese's and Oreo mashup, we knew we had to make magic happen,' said Dan Mohnshine, vice president, US confection marketing, The Hershey Company. 'This isn't just another product launch — it's two legendary brands coming together to create something absolutely unprecedented that'll blow minds and taste buds everywhere.' With the dream becoming a reality, longtime fans of The Parent Trap are now calling on the companies to make Lindsay Lohan a spokesperson. Oreo excited fans with its collaborations with Post Malone, Selena Gomez and Benny Blanco earlier this year Reese's knew it had to make the collaboration happen after learning about the customer demand Reese's has been facing tough competition from other brands looking to satisfy their fans. Percy Pig came out strong in the candy wars last March by bringing its Gummy Candy to the US. Prior to its release, the popular UK candy received shout outs from A-listers like Olivia Rodrigo and Katy Perry. Butterfinger joined in April by releasing a limited-time Salted Caramel Butterfinger, it's first new flavor in 10 years. The flavor was an instant success, but it's removal from shelves in June broke thousands of hearts.

Selena Gomez wants 'biscuits and gravy' at her wedding
Selena Gomez plans to eat "biscuits and gravy" at her wedding. The 33-year-old star is engaged to record producer Benny Blanco, and Selena has revealed the unusual dessert that she wants to eat on her big day. The Only Murders in the Building star said in a Rare Beauty TikTok video: "Whenever that day comes, I do know I don't want a big cake. "My preferred dessert I think would be biscuits and gravy. My nana's biscuits and gravy. That sounds like dessert to me." Despite this, Selena would still like to have a small cake as a memento of the occasion. The brunette beauty - who began dating Benny in 2023 - shared: "I think I want a mini one for just us that we can freeze." Meanwhile, Selena previously revealed that she'd love to have children one day. The actress announced her engagement to Benny in 2024, and Selena would love to raise children with him in the future. Selena - who previously revealed that she isn't able to carry her own children - said on the Jay Shetty Podcast: "I don't know what will happen, obviously, but I love children. I have an 11-year-old sister that I absolutely adore. "I love making [children] laugh; they're just so sweet. So absolutely, when that day comes, I'm so excited for it." Benny observed that Selena is the "ultimate level of shy". However, the producer noted that her demeanour changes when she's around children. The 37-year-old star - who has previously worked with Justin Bieber and The Weeknd, two of Selena's former boyfriends - said: "When she walks into a room, her main goal is to disappear into the crowd. My mom is very similar, [she] and my mom are very similar. "They'll wait and say like one thing throughout the night that winds up being the most poignant or funny thing of the night. But I'm gonna have diarrhoea of the mouth talking to everyone. "Whenever there's kids at a place it's the only time I see her do that. She immediately goes to the kids and has these conversations for hours with the kids."

Benny Blanco Shares Intimate, Never-Before-Seen Photos of Selena Gomez
As Selena Gomez rang in her 33rd birthday surrounded by her nearest and dearest inner circle, her fiancé Benny Blanco was by her side—and he took a moment after the disco-themed festivities quieted down to share a more private side of the singer. The music producer confirmed he's as smitten with Gomez as ever as he gave fans a rare behind-the-scenes glimpse of their 'dream' life together, complete with a subtle roast of his own sleeping beauty's napping habits. 'Our life is a dream… so I'm never waking u up… happy birthday my love,' Blanco wrote in a photo dump shared with his 3 million followers on Tuesday, July 22. In contrast to his emotional caption, he appeared to keep things light with his photos as he shared not one, but five different photos of his wife-to-be sleeping in random places. Selena's "Dreaming of You" fittingly played in the background. In the first image, a blue hoodie-clad Blanco took a selfie in the back of a car while the 'Calm Down' singer dozed against his shoulder and the leather seats. A sleeping Gomez also made another appearance in the second photo, which showed her getting some shut-eye while snuggled up in a pink fuzzy blanket. The star could be seen wrapped in various cozy blankets while napping on the couch in two subsequent photos. The final image showed a makeup-free Gomez wearing a long-sleeved red shirt and clutching a sherpa blanket as she peacefully rested her eyes in bed. The cozy unfiltered scenes were a contrast to the glam, '80s disco-inspired party that Gomez held for her birthday. Celebrating alongside celebrity BFFs like Taylor Swift and Sofia Carson, the Only Murders in the Building actress—who was dressed to the nines in a reflective black Nadine Merabi jumpsuit paired with a multi-watt Brilliant Earth diamond necklace and fuzzy white coat—also shared several sweet photos of her kissing Blanco as well as one of her kneeling on the ground outside while playfully grabbing his legs. Reflecting on her 'incredible journey' over the past year, Gomez called 32 the 'most beautiful year of [her] life' in her emotional caption. Read the original article on InStyle
