Brits predict Oasis tour fallout as almost half think Liam and Noel won't see it through

The famously feuding brothers have called a truce - but for how long? Oasis are kicking off their reunion tour tomorrow, Friday, July 4, in Cardiff. It is the first of 19 shows that will see roughly 1,543,889 fans rejoice at the chance to see Noel and Liam Gallagher perform live. This tour marks the first time in 15 years when the brothers' break-up shook the music world way back in 2009. The musicians will grace Edinburgh's Murrayfield stadium for three shows in August, where around 80,000 bucket hats worth of beer is expected to be drunk. ‌ But as fans rejoice at the Gallaghers' reunion, many are sceptical of whether or not their rocky relationship will last the length of the summer tour. In fact, almost half of Brits polled don't think the pair's relationship will last until the end of the shows. ‌ According to a new survey from Betfair Slots, 55 per cent of Brits believe the once-feuding siblings will see the concert tour through without the start of another feud, but 45 per cent think the brothers are headed for another huge falling out. However, when it comes to the reunion itself, 55 per cent of respondents expressed their excitement, saying they're happy to see the brothers back together, but less than half (48%) believe the tour will live up to the hype. With rumours swirling about the possible tour setlist, it seems that Don't Look Back In Anger is the song most fans want to hear from the Gallagher brothers, topping the list as people's favourite. Over half of respondents (56%) named the track - written by Noel and released in 1996 - as their all-time favourite Oasis hit. It was followed by one of the band's best-known songs, Wonderwall (40%), with Morning Glory coming in third (26%). Meanwhile, (What's the Story) Morning Glory? took the top spot for favourite Oasis album, with 37 per cent of the vote. ‌ Released in October 1995, the album was Oasis 's second studio record and featured some of their standout tracks, including Don't Look Back In Anger, Wonderwall, Roll With It, and She's Electric. A leaked version of the possible setlist was posted on Twitter earlier this week, as fans anticipate the Gallaghers' return. One fan took to X, formally known as Twitter, to share the songs they overheard outside the stadium. Posing a video of the Gallagher brothers rehearsing, the message read: "SPOILER ALERT. SETLIST SO FAR PER REHEARSAL LEAKS..." ‌ The post continued to list: Rock n Roll Star Bring it on Down Hello, Fade Away Whatever The Masterplan Slide Away Cast No Shadow Some Might Say Don't Look Back in Anger Live Forever Roll With It Cigs and Alcohol Champagne Supernova However not everyone in the replies were happy with the setlist, as one fan stated: "No Lyla? No Acquiesce? Everything is from the first two albums WTF." Another showed their disappointment, writing: "Massively disappointing if that's the set. They have so many great tunes outside of Definitely Maybe & (What's the Story) Morning Glory." Join the Daily Record WhatsApp community! Robbie William's most popular song ever is not what you'd expect as star takes to Murrayfield stage

Robbie Williams is kicking off his European tour at Edinburgh's Murrayfield Stadium tonight and is set to play a number of his biggest hits from over the years - but which is his most popular track of all time? Robbie Williams is set to kick off his highly anticipated Britpop European tour at Edinburgh's Murrayfield Stadium tonight on Saturday May 31. The 51-year-old singer, who has a number of chart topping hits under his belt including She's The One and Angels, is getting ready to launch his 13th studio album Britpop after releasing his new single Rocket earlier this week. However, fans will also be keen to hear Robbie perform some of his biggest tracks from over the years. The former Take That band member, who released his unique biopic 'Better Man' in December 2024, launched his solo career in the late nineties and has enjoyed a very successful musical career since. ‌ But which one of Robbie's famous hits is the most popular of all time? New data from Betfair Slots has revealed his fanbases' top 15 favourite songs of all the time - and the one in the top spot is certainly not what you'd expect. ‌ Betfair Slots measured the popularity of each track by calculating the number of Spotify streams, YouTube views and peak chart positions. ‌ Which one do you think will be on the top spot? Spoiler art it's not Angels! Infact, it's actually Robbie's 2002 track Feel which comes out on first place. ‌ Released as the lead single from his fifth studio album, Escapology, 'Feel' quickly became an international hit, peaking at number one in the Czech Republic, Italy, the Netherlands, Poland, Portugal, and Romania. Meanwhile, Robbie's debut solo single - and wedding first dance classic - Angels is just behind in second place, which is unlikely to come as a surprise as it's the first song many are likely to associate Williams with. Another familiar classic, Rock DJ is ranked in third place. ‌ Completing the top five chart is Robbie's most recent UK number one Candy in fourth position, while emotion-filled ballad She's The One takes fifth spot. Here are the results of Robbie William's top fifteen most popular songs according to the data they found. Top 15 Robbie Williams songs (Ranking created using figures from Spotify, YouTube and the UK Singles and Downloads Charts): ‌ Feel Angels Rock DJ Candy She's The One Somethin' Stupid (with Nicole Kidman) Supreme Let Me Entertain You Eternity Millenium Shame (with Gary Barlow) Come Undone Kids (with Kylie Minogue) Bodies Radio ‌ Robbie is kicking off his European tour tonight which will see him headline the likes of London, Manchester, and Bath before moving on to international shows in France, Germany, Spain, Italy and Sweden. However, it all starts at Edinburgh's Murrayfield Stadium tonight as Williams makes his return to the stage in the capital for the third time tonight to perform to a crowd of over 50,000 people. The Rock DJ hitmaker and his wife, Ayda Williams, arrived in Scotland earlier this week and enjoyed a stay at the lavish Gleneagles Hotel.

King Charles's Body Language Spoke Volumes During His Visit to Canada

King Charles and Queen Camilla have officially touched down in Ottawa, Canada, marking His Majesty's first visit to the nation after his coronation. The royal couple received a warm welcome from the local community and have since met with Prime Minister Mark Carney and his wife, Diana Fox Carney. Buckingham Palace also took to Instagram to share memorable moments, including their visit to Lansdowne Park and Rideau Hall. As you'd expect, the king was in high spirits, but according to body language expert Darren Stanton, there was more to the monarch's nonverbal gestures than met the eye. Victoria Jones - Pool/Getty Images Speaking on behalf of Betfair Slots, Stanton revealed that King Charles looked powerful and determined when he arrived yesterday. He explained, "It was clear from the crowds and the reaction of the public that everyone was elated over Charles and Camilla arriving. Charles also seemed really pleased to be visiting. His posture was upright, straight, and he wasn't slouching, showing that he was completely engaged in taking it all in." He continued, "In terms of his facial expressions, Charles seemed genuinely happy to be there—there weren't any signs of a fake or masking smile. The emotions, from a microexpression point of view, were very genuine. He certainly looked powerful while taking on the event. He's got that strong determination that his mother had." The expert also called out a key gesture that spoke volumes about the king's relationship with Carney when they greeted each other. Victoria Jones - Pool/Getty Images "Looking at the pictures of Charles and Canada's Prime Minister Mark Carney, the feelings were very much reciprocated by him," Stanton said. "There is clearly a real, deep mutual respect between these two men. When you look at their handshake, it's a really good, firm grip. I also noticed that Carney put both of his hands over Charles' at one point, which is referred to as a double handshake. This shows that he has the utmost respect for the King." "Overall, Charles appeared in really good spirits. It was all very positive, with great postures and eye contact. Both him and the Queen seem really strong in their character and general demeanor." Today, the king is set to make history by delivering the Speech from the Throne at the opening of parliament. This will be the first time in nearly five decades that Canada's head of state gives the throne speech. (The last time this occurred was in October 1977, when Elizabeth II delivered it for the second time.) Regarding the king's visit, Carney said in a statement that it "clearly underscores the sovereignty of our country," adding that His Majesty's speech is "a historic honour that matches the weight of our times." Prince William and Princess Kate's Garden Party Guests Give Major Clue as to Who Will Be Their "Rock" When He Becomes King

Prince William and Princess Kate attended the final Buckingham Palace garden party of the year on Tuesday, May 20, and the royal couple invited some close family members to join them at the elegant event. While the couple have been taking steps to prepare Prince George for his eventual role as King, they've also been prepping themselves for their future on the throne—and their guests at Tuesday's garden party give some hints about who William and Kate will rely on one day. The Prince and Princess of Wales were joined by William's uncle, Prince Edward, and his wife, Duchess Sophie, William's cousins Princess Eugenie and Zara Tindall, and Queen Elizabeth's first cousin, the Duke of Gloucester, and his wife, the Duchess of Gloucester. Kate's "royal sister" Duchess Sophie is said to have been a great source of comfort while the Princess of Wales battled cancer last year, and Princess Charlotte has joined Sophie for girly shopping trips in London. It's also been reported that the Prince of Wales is considering making Edward and Sophie's 21-year-old daughter, Lady Louise, a working royal one day. The Wales family is also close with Zara and her husband, Mike Tindall—and body language expert Darren Stanton recently shared that the Olympic equestrian has become a "rock" for the Royal Family. "She clearly thinks highly of her family and has developed strong bonds with everyone," Stanton said, speaking on behalf of Betfair Slots. "They seem to see her as a real rock who can always be relied on. Family is very close to her heart." King Charles has been said to want Princess Eugenie and Princess Beatrice to stay in the royal fold, even if they likely won't become full-time working members of the family. "While King Charles remains keen to keep Beatrice and Eugenie close, deploying them at garden parties and receptions, neither will receive the full-time royal roles that their father [Prince Andrew] once coveted for them," Daily Mail columnist Ephraim Hardcastle wrote in January. As for garden party fashion, the Princess of Wales—who wore an olive Victoria Beckham suit to present the Queen Elizabeth II Award for British Design last week—repeated the pale yellow dress she wore during the Platinum Jubilee, adding a slightly different floral-trimmed hat. She gave a sentimental touch to the look with her diamond wedding earrings, which feature a dangling acorn, as featured on the princess's coat of arms. Meanwhile, Duchess Sophie wore a pretty pink floral dress, while Zara dressed in a long-sleeved white floral midi dress and Eugenie looked lovely in navy polka dots.
