With no social media, Bhavya Jha bags NEET UG AIR 8 in first try, targets AIIMS
At just 18, Bhavya Chirag Jha from Ahmedabad scripted a remarkable chapter in the NEET UG 2025 journey by securing All India Rank 8 with a stellar percentile of 99.9996379 — all in his very first attempt. With AIIMS New Delhi firmly in his sights, Bhavya now inches closer to a dream he has nurtured since Class studied at AES AG - Higher Secondary School and balanced his regular school routine with focused preparation through coaching at Allen Institute. "There was just one solution — to manage time," Bhavya says. After school, he would finish assignments, attend coaching, and then revise for 3–4 hours every many aspirants who opt for drop years or open schooling, Bhavya stayed grounded in the classroom environment and even found it refreshing. Being a day scholar, he attended school regularly and also prepared for the medical entrance test. 'There was just one solution – to manage time. After attending school, I used to complete assignments and homework, followed by offline coaching from the Allen Institute. Once the coaching class was over, I used to revise what was done in the class and practice some questions,' said Bhavya Jha. For Bhavya Jha, going to school was a refreshing activity, where he used to meet and interact with peers and play volleyball – 'a sport that could refresh his mind within minutes.' Target AIIMS For Bhavya Jha, AIIMS, New Delhi, is a place where every NEET aspirant wishes to study. 'In my opinion, AIIMS is the best medical institute for both UG and PG courses because of the faculty you interact with. Their experience and knowledge are unmatched. I have heard my teachers saying that the AIIMS environment is also good, which gives practical and ground-level exposure to MBBS students,' he said. After AIIMS, his second choice is Jawaharlal Institute of Postgraduate Medical Education & Research (JIPMER). Asked if he felt he was missing out on fun activities owing to his routine for NEET UG preparation, Bhavya Jha replied, 'No, I never had the feeling of missing out. I knew that if I work hard for two years, then I will be able to do better than what my friends are doing now.' he said.
