Another day, another update from Bhumi Pednekar's Udaipur diaries. Today, the focus is on her scrumptious culinary outings. Recently, the actress shared a couple of pictures on her Instagram Stories, offering a glimpse of her morning coffee and delicious lunch later on. The first picture showed The Royals actress sipping on the aromatic beverage in a beautifully decorated cup and saucer that looked nothing short of regal. But it was no ordinary coffee. It came with a striking latte art featuring a portrait of Bhumi herself. She enjoyed the drink while soaking in the beauty of the palace and distant hills. We could feel the bliss through the snap. Watch the full story below: On the next slide featuring her gastronomical adventure in the City of Lakes, Bhumi Pednekar treated herself to a wholesome and authentic Rajasthani thali. Served on a traditional plate was a bowl of rice, kaali dal and bhindi fry. We also spotted ker sangri, a type of vegetable dish made from ker — a wild, tangy-sour berry and sangri — a bean that comes from the Khejri tree. A separate bowl featured gatte ki sabzi, another vegetable curry prepared from gram flour dumplings. It has a yummy and creamy, yogurt-based curry. Bhumi Pednekar also relished the Rajasthani staple — dal-bati-churma. Each of the items was presented on three different plates. Phew! Bhumi skipped a fancy caption and simply added a smiley emoji, which perfectly encapsulated how much she enjoyed her meal. Delhi Man Goes On A Date, Slapped With Rs 12,000 Bill. What Is Dating App Scam?
Last Updated: A Delhi man claimed that he had met someone on a dating app and decided to meet at Cafe Locus in East of Kailash area in Delhi. His romantic date soon turned into a nightmare. A Delhi man's right swipe on a dating app turned into a mid-day nightmare when he discovered that he was on a match made in hell. Sharing his horrifying experience on Reddit's r/LegalAdviceIndia subreddit, the user shared that his date asked him to meet at a cafe named Locus in the East of Kailash in Delhi. When his date began ordering Jägerbomb– shot of Jägermeister into a glass of an energy drink– each costing Rs 1200, the man decided to reveal that he had no more than Rs 3000 to spend for their date. The man was left dumbstruck when the woman, name disclosed as Bhumi by the man, ordered for the bill. Rs 11,958 was the amount the two owed to the cafe. However, in his post, the man revealed that the woman admitted to him that all she was carrying was Rs 100. Perplexed, the man asked the staff at the cafe to split the bill and stop the woman from leaving the premises. Once Bhumi had left the cafe, Varsha, allegedly the owner of the eatery, approached the frightened man and issued him a threat that the authorities would have to be called and he would have to shell out an additional of Rs 10,000 making his sum go up to Rs 22,000. The man also claimed that after protesting and negotiating with Varsha and the staff at the Locus cafe, he asked his friend to come to the cafe and remove him from the situation. In the end, the matter was settled for Rs 2,500. 'The girl was just setup by the pub to increase the sales. It's a well known scam," a Reddit user wrote in response of the man's ordeal. 'Terrible Experience – Feels Like a Trap! I had one of the worst experiences ever at Locus Lounge & Café Bar in Greater Kailash Colony. The atmosphere is nowhere near what they promise—dark, uncomfortable, and honestly shady. But that's not even the worst part," a user wrote in their review before adding," This place seems to run on a trap-like business model. I was approached by a girl named Varsha, supposedly just to accompany for conversation—but it quickly became clear this was all part of a setup. Without my clear consent, expensive items kept getting added to the bill—drinks I didn't order, food I didn't even get a chance to try. The prices were shockingly high, and the final bill was outrageous." Another user shared a similar experience. 'This restaurant and bar is a scam. Too much Over price. One shot of jagermaster 1200rs and 500rs for red bull. 10% Servicing charges not optional you must have to pay and additionally they will charge you 25% VAT. I suggest do not go to this restaurant and bar (sic)." 'This place is scam. Please stay away from here and their agents. They ruined out night and wasted over 10,000 inr, (sic)" another chimed. Date Scams Although dating app scams aren't unheard of, several men have fallen prey to matches who work in unison with such dubious cafes or eateries that slap the victim with an exorbitant bill and threaten action if not paid in full. Journalist Deepika Narayan Bhardwaj had highlighted the dating app scam that had at least a dozen victims and the bill amounts ranging from Rs 23K to the north of Rs 60K. Bhardwaj, in her viral thread on 'X', shed light on a cafe called The Godfather that was located in Mumbai and was allegedly the scamcentre of dating scams. The modus operandi was simple. The women ordered drinks, hookah, shots, etc without showing the menu card to the victims. Only once the bill arrived did the men know that they had been on a date they would remember for a lifetime.
