(Cam Wiebe/CTV News Edmonton) The world's largest bouncy castle and some inflatable obstacle courses were taking shape at the RAD Torque Raceway on Friday. Big Bounce Canada was setting up the 24,000 square foot bouncy castle as part of its inflatable touring event, which is open to all ages from toddlers to adults. 'Everybody wants to have fun and be a child again,' Big Bounce Canada tour manager Amanda Robles told CTV News Edmonton in front of the giant castle. The bouncy castle will also have DJ's playing music to add to the fun. 'It's a full on party. You have snow, you have bubbles, you have beach balls – a little bit of everything.' Each inflatable piece is stuck together with velcro. Robles said it takes about two days to set everything up. Organizers are anticipating about 1,000 people will bounce through the course every three hours. The Big Bounce Canada tour runs for two weekends starting tomorrow. Tickets can be purchased online. Edmontonians will jump up, jump up, and get down later this summer when the world's largest bouncey castle bounds its way back to town. The Big Bounce Canada tour returns to Edmonton on the weekends of July 26-27 and Aug. 2-3 at the RAD Torque Raceway near Range Road 253 and Township Road 544, the tour announced in a news release. The tour's 24,000-square-foot bounce house is the largest in the world, standing 32 feet tall at its tallest point. There are even self-contained attractions inside the bounce house, such as giant slides, ball pits, climbing towers, basketball hoops, mascots, and a resident DJ spinning music from a custom-built centre stage. Apart from the bounce house, there are seven other attractions, including the OctoBlast area, a deep-sea-themed bounce space filled with ocean creatures, foam cannons, and a DJ spinning from a pufferfish stage. Attendees will also get a chance to complete a 900 foot obstacle course, The Giant, which contains 50 different obstacles ending with a monster-sized slide. Produced by XL Event Lab, The Big Bounce Canada is the biggest touring inflatable event in the world and features seven massive inflatable attractions. Tickets for the event start at $22 and can be purchased online at Organizers expect the event to sell out and are encouraging people to buy tickets in advance. The Big Bounce Canada will bring the world's biggest touring inflatable event to Hanes Corn Maze in Flamborough June 27-29 and July 5-6, featuring seven massive inflatable attractions.
