In a recent interview, she recalled how audiences misjudged the character of Bindya Rani, and clarified that her role was far from the sleazy interpretation people often assumed. 'This was the Bindya Rani scene with Amrish Puri,' she told Bollywood Bubble while looking at an old still from the film. 'That character itself was like that—she had to work with Amrish Puri. Nowadays, people often make such scenes sleazy... asking actresses to remove their clothes and all. But this character wasn't like that.
