July 8 - The Utah Mammoth re-signed center Jack McBain to a five-year, $21.25 million contract on Monday. The contract carries an average annual value (AAV) of $4.25 million. The deal was announced a day after the team elected to take McBain, a restricted free agent, to salary arbitration. "Jack is an important part of the championship-caliber team we are building, and we look forward to having him back on our roster for the foreseeable future," Utah general manager Bill Armstrong said. The 6-foot-4, 219-pounder has tallied 82 points in 241 regular-season games with Utah and the Arizona Coyotes since being selected in the third round of the 2018 draft by the Minnesota Wild. --Field Level Media
