‘There is pressure': Late night TV in the ‘crosshairs' following axing of Colbert's show
Television critic Bill Brioux has discussed whether the late-night formula is dying following news that 'The Late Show with Stephen Colbert' has been cancelled and will end in 2026 after more than 30 years on air. 'Well, it's certainly in the crosshairs,' he told Sky News Australia. 'There is pressure for sure outside of just ratings and dollars.'
