'The Bold and the Beautiful' Is 'Rewriting' a Legacy Character and It's 'Pissing' Fans Off
'The Bold and the Beautiful' Is 'Rewriting' a Legacy Character and It's 'Pissing' Fans Off originally appeared on Parade. The Bold and the Beautiful fans are speaking out after painful scenes involving a legacy character. Bill Spencer (Don Diamont) was not acting like himself in recent scenes on the CBS soap. After months of being off-screen, Bill returned and was a shell of himself, letting Steffy (Jacqueline MacInnes Wood), Ridge (Thorsten Kaye), Hope (Annika Noelle), and Taylor (Rebecca Budig) rip into him. It was not the Dollar Bill Spencer fans know, that's for sure.X was on fire, with The Bold and the Beautiful fans ranting about the way the legacy character is being written on the show. 'The original Dollar Bill Spencer is gone. The writers officially ruined him to prop,' wrote an X. Another X read, 'Why are the writers rewriting history. Bill loves his children. These scenes today are ridiculous.' A different fan declared, 'This is really pissing me off…I can't #Bill Spencer would never take this from would knock him down to get to his son!!!' One fan asked, '#BoldandBeautiful Will the real Dollar Bill Spencer please stand up and tell all these losers to F off.' #BoldandBeautiful Will the real Dollar Bill Spencer please stand up and tell all these losers to F off — Suzan (@SuzanH01) July 14, 2025 There was an X that read, 'First of all, @BandB_CBS ✍️ why in the h--l's 🔔 is $Bill seeking permission from a waffling, cheating dressmaker, to see his son?! Knock his a-- out of your way, $Bill go to the nurses station, and ask to see your kid.' A fan wondered, 'Where are they coming up w this narrative w Bill???' One fan called what was happening with Bill 'gross' and hopes he 'cusses' Hope (Annika Noelle), Steffy, Ridge, Taylor, and Brooke (Katherine Kelly Lang) out. 'DD's acting was incredible & before I loved to hate Bill Jr. I don't recognize Bill anymore. Some of the actors don't want to come back ´cause the writing of their characters is a disgrace. I wouldn't be mad if DD left, seeing as how his character became a flop,' insisted a fan on X. DD's acting was incredible & before I loved to hate Bill Jr. I don't recognize Bill anymore. (@hananazizi77) July 14, 2025 Not everyone was upset about how Bill was written and treated in recent scenes. One fan thought he deserved the lashing because he got Luna (Lisa Yamada) out of prison. A fan shared on X, 'Bill character deserved tongue lashings today. He got Luna released & pardoned then suddenly kicked vulnerable Luna to curb to fend for herself. Bill said hateful things to son Liam (far beyond constructive criticism) that he can't take back. Bill=jerk.' Now that Bill knows that Liam (Scott Clifton) has a brain tumor, The Bold and the Beautiful fans should see more of the character. Here's hoping the real Bill returns to save his son, not the sap we saw the past few days. The Bold and the Beautiful airs weekdays on CBS. What if the Wrong Person is Dead? B&B's July 11 Key Moments Have Us Questioning Everything
The Bold and the Beautiful key moments for Friday, July 11, 2025, have us wondering what is really going on. We were left with more questions than answers. We got Poppy and Sheila's very different reactions to Luna's death. Meanwhile, Bill learned what happened to Liam. You need to tune into today's riveting episode. Friday's episode had it all. We went through the five stages of grief. Li (Naomi Matsuda) was angry at Poppy (Romy Park) for her cold-hearted response to her daughter's death. The Forresters were angry at Bill (Don Diamont) for wanting to see his son, even though he was allowed to. Poppy accepted the fact that Luna (Lisa Yamada) was six feet under. As for Bill, he feels regret for the harsh words he told Liam (Scott Clifton). He recalls their difficult fight and tells him that he needs to stand up for himself and act like a man. All he wanted was to see his son, and the Forresters wouldn't let him. READ THIS: What else happened today on B&B? Steffy (Jacqueline MacInnes Wood) told Bill to leave the hospital as if she owned it. Her father, Ridge (Thorsten Kaye), and her mother, Taylor (Rebecca Budig), stood by her as she took it upon herself. Bill has every right to see his son despite what happened. He's obviously feeling regret for everything that went down. Where does that leave Bill's relationship with Liam? Sheila (Kimberlin Brown) had to find out the truth for herself. Deacon (Sean Kanan) learned through Finn (Tanner Novlan), who visited her hospital room. He had to share the grim news. Sheila might be in denial for a bit since she assumed Luna made it through surgery. But we know who's currently in the denial stage. That's Li (Naomi Matsuda). She was the one who shared the news about Luna's death. But it has us wondering. Is Luna really dead? Or is she hiding her away? And what for? Li believes that Luna has a second chance at life. WATCH NOW: SoapHub's video podcast delivers it all! Maybe the wrong person is dead. It's possible that Liam is on his deathbed since he's lying unconscious. This is not a good sign. Luna could be the one who survived surgery after all. We are dying to see what happens next. Maybe not the right choice of words to use. Your fan theory could be our next headline – email amber@

Messiest Move of the Week: Bill Created an Even Bigger Monster on Bold and the Beautiful
This week's messiest move goes to Bill on The Bold and the Beautiful. He has no idea the kind of monster he unleashed on Los Angeles. Luna is out for blood. If it wasn't for him, Steffy and Finn would be safe. Bill (Don Diamont) used his wealth and power to pardon Luna (Lisa Yamada). He believed she deserved a second chance. Luna's letters got to him, and from there, the two grew closer together. He only got to know Luna's good side. She claimed that she had a temporary bout of insanity when she killed Hollis (Hollis Chambers) and Tom (Howard Clint). The two bonded over their shared childhood trauma. Bill empathized with Luna because he also didn't have a stable parental figure in his life. Even though he pardoned Luna and has forgiven her, he doesn't want anything to do with her. Bill said goodbye to Luna when she asked for his help. READ NEXT: Will The Drama With Luna Ignite Sparks Between Li and Bill on B&B? Bill doesn't want any part of Luna's mess.
