Rosé's Recent Global Hit Returns To The Charts

(Photo by) Just as promotion for her debut solo album Rosie was dying down, Rosé returned with a new single. The Blackpink superstar joined the F1 soundtrack, which is packed with familiar musicians across a variety of genres. Her tune "Messy" was shared as the second official single from the album, and it arrived in early May, nearly two months before the film and its accompanying album dropped. Interest in all things F1 remains high and as the film heads toward proper blockbuster status, "Messy" returns to several Billboard charts at the same time. 'Messy' Drives Back Onto Several Charts 'Messy' reappears on both the Billboard Global Excl. U.S. and Billboard Global 200 this week. Rosé's tune reenters the former at No. 143 and the latter at No. 184. The Billboard Global 200 ranks the 200 most consumed tracks throughout the world, while the Billboard Global Excl. U.S. does exactly the same, except all consumption from American listeners is not factored in when the ranking is compiled each week. Rosé's F1 Single on Billboard's Worldwide Lists "Messy" was a bigger hit on the Billboard Global Excl. U.S. when compared to the Billboard Global 200, but not by much. Rosé's F1 track peaked at No. 25 on the former tally and No. 34 on the all-encompassing list. As it reappears, "Messy" reaches its fourth week on the two rankings. 'Messy' Joins 'Apt.' and 'On My Mind' Rosé fills three spaces on both worldwide rankings this week as "Messy" mounts its comeback. "Apt.," her collaboration with Bruno Mars, continues to live inside the top 10 as it holds at No. 4 on the Billboard Global Excl. U.S. and rises to No. 5 on the Billboard Global 200. Rosé's collaboration with Alex Warren, titled "On My Mind," debuted inside the upper half of both rankings last week. This time around, the duet drops dramatically. "On My Mind" falls from No. 57 to No. 130 on the Billboard Global 200, and it dips even further on the Billboard Global Excl. U.S., slipping almost 100 spaces as it steps back from No. 79 to No. 167.

Bruce Springsteen's Classic Reaches A New Billboard Chart Peak

Any famous cut featuring phrases like "Fourth of July" or words such as "America," "American," or "U.S.A." typically experience notable surges in consumption. One annual favorite is "Born in the U.S.A." by none other than Bruce Springsteen. Following another of America's birthdays, the track returns to multiple charts in the United States, and it even manages to hit a new all-time high on one list. "Born in the U.S.A." Hits a New High "Born in the U.S.A." resurfaces on three Billboard tallies, as it both sold and streamed well enough to appear on several different rankings. The Springsteen classic excitedly reappears on the Rock Streaming Songs chart at No. 15, earning just its fourth stay on the list of the most played rock tunes on platforms like Spotify, Apple Music, and more. As it returns, the cut reaches a new all-time high. "Born in the U.S.A." Returns to Multiple Tallies "Born in the U.S.A." also lands on both the Rock Digital Song Sales and the Digital Song Sales charts. The former looks only at rock compositions, while the latter is genre-agnostic. Luminate reports that during the most recent tracking period, Springsteen's smash sold 1,500 copies — an increase of nearly 100% from the frame before. That gain was clearly fueled by the Fourth of July holiday. This week, "Born in the U.S.A." reenters the Rock Digital Song Sales tally at No. 4, just two spots below its peak position of No. 2. At the same time, it narrowly secures a spot on the Digital Song Sales list, landing at No. 25, the lowest space on that 25-title roster. Bruce Springsteen's Lowest-Peaking Hit While "Born in the U.S.A." may reach a new peak on the Rock Streaming Songs tally, it still stands as Springsteen's lowest-rising tune on the ranking. Alongside the E Street Band, the superstar has only sent three tracks to the tally. Of those, only "Santa Claus Is Comin' to Town" has cracked the top 10, where it stalled at No. 7 at the end of this past holiday season. "Sandpaper," Springsteen's collaboration with Zach Bryan, debuted and peaked at No. 14 last July. Bruce Springsteen's Greatest Hits Album Climbs The renewed attention focused on "Born in the U.S.A." — along with Springsteen's general popularity — also help his Greatest Hits compilation. The set returns to three rosters: the Top Rock Albums, Top Rock & Alternative Albums charts, and the Billboard 200. On those tallies, the set lands at Nos. 22, 27, and 107, respectively.

The Grammy-nominated singer pushed several tunes from the project before it arrived in full, and he's still trying to turn tracks like 'Mystical Magical' and 'Sorry, I'm Here for Someone Else' into bigger and bigger smashes. As fans across the country continue to discover and fall in love with his most recent cuts, 'Beautiful Things,' the track that launched Boone to stardom, is not only still present on the Billboard charts – it lives at No. 1 on a radio ranking yet again. 'Beautiful Things' Hits No. 1 Again 'Beautiful Things' dominates the Adult Contemporary chart this week. The track lifts from second place to the summit, trading spots with another long-standing smash, 'Lose Control' by Teddy Swims, which dips to the runner-up position. Boone's breakout hit has now led the tally of the most successful compositions at adult contemporary radio stations across the United States for an even 12 nonconsecutive weeks. 70 Weeks on the Chart The Adult Contemporary ranking is known to move more slowly than most of Billboard's lists – especially those focused on pop radio – but the fact that 'Beautiful Things' is still ruling is rather incredible. This time around, as it jumps back to first place, Boone's standout single reaches 70 weeks on the tally. It's incredibly rare for any tune to rack up 70 frames on an airplay list, and it's nearly unheard of for one to continue leading the charge after so much time has passed. Where Else 'Beautiful Things' Appears 'Beautiful Things' can be found on just one other airplay roster in the U.S., as it dips from No. 12 to No. 14 on the Radio Songs chart, 71 weeks into its lifetime. Boone's cut is also still present inside the top 20 on both the Digital Song Sales and Streaming Songs tallies. Its success across all three of those consumption metrics helps it appear just below the Hot 100's top 10, 75 frames into its lifetime on that ranking. 'Beautiful Things' currently sits at No. 11 and could climb back into the top 10 at any point, especially during a less-than-busy period. Benson Boone's Other Hit Singles Boone's tune 'Sorry, I'm Here for Someone Else' also appears on the Adult Contemporary chart, though it's not performing nearly as well as its predecessor. The lead single from American Heart holds at No. 13, its all-time peak, while keeping at its best showing on both the Adult Pop Airplay and Pop Airplay lists at Nos. 2 and 3, respectively. Follow-up single 'Mystical Magical' reaches a new high on both the Adult Pop Airplay and Pop Airplay rankings at the same time, jumping to Nos. 20 and 23, respectively.

Beyoncé's Album Lifts Across Several Billboard Charts Cowboy Carter can currently be found on three Billboard rankings, all of which track total consumption, blending both sales and streaming activity. The full-length rises highest on the Top Americana/Folk Albums list, where it returns to the top 10, ascending from No. 12 to No. 9. The same project finds its way back to the top 20 on the Top Country Albums list, jumping from No. 28 to No. 20. The greatest lift for Cowboy Carter comes on the Billboard 200, where it shoots from No. 145 to No. 89 — just one week after celebrating its first full year on the ranking of the most consumed albums and EPs in the nation. Cowboy Carter Grew By 27% Consumption of Cowboy Carter grew considerably as Beyoncé's tour returned to American soil. Luminate reports that during the past tracking period, the full-length moved 12,700 equivalent units. That's up nearly 27% from the previous frame, when it shifted just 10,000. Included in that sum are 1,100 pure purchases — a very healthy figure for a collection that has already been out for a year. Beyoncé and Dolly Parton Chart Together One track from Cowboy Carter also finds its way back to a Billboard tally. Somewhat surprisingly, it's not one of the singles officially pushed from the full-length. Instead, 'Tyrant,' Beyoncé's collaboration with country star Dolly Parton, reappears not on any country ranking, but the Hot R&B Songs chart. The two legends nearly land inside the top 10, as their duet reenters at No. 11 after previously peaking at No. 5.

The emo band hasn't returned with a long-desired new album, but instead, a revamped version of its sophomore full-length Three Cheers for Sweet Revenge, which blasts back onto half a dozen tallies simultaneously. The exciting deluxe edition of the set reaches No. 1 on more than half of the rankings on which it appear, while at the same time, it just barely misses out on becoming the group's first champion on one highly competitive tally. Three Cheers for Sweet Revenge Returns at No. 2 Three Cheers for Sweet Revenge reenters the Top Album Sales chart at No. 2. Luminate reports that in the past tracking period, the decades-old set sold 37,000 new copies. The week before the deluxe edition was available, it sold just 1,200. So, the collection experienced an almost 3,000% gain in pure purchases from one frame to the next. My Chemical Romance Matches Its Own Career Peak As Three Cheers for Sweet Revenge returns to the Top Album Sales ranking, My Chemical Romance ties its highest placement ever on the list of the bestselling full-lengths and EPs of any style in the United States. The group previously missed out on a No. 1 by just one rung back in November 2006, when The Black Parade debuted at No. 2. The rockers have seen two other collections — Danger Days: The True Lives of the Fabulous Killjoys and May Death Never Stop You — stall at Nos. 8 and 9, respectively. Three Cheers for Sweet Revenge Reappears at No. 1 While it misses the throne on the Top Album Sales ranking by one space, Three Cheers for Sweet Revenge does reappear on the Vinyl Albums, Top Rock & Alternative Albums, Top Rock Albums, and Top Alternative Albums charts at No. 1. My Chemical Romance hits the summit for the first time on the vinyl tally and adds to its growing list of leaders on the other three genre-specific rankings. My Chemical Romance Hits the Billboard 200's Top 10 In the past tracking frame, Three Cheers for Sweet Revenge moved a total of 43,600 equivalent units, and more than half of those were actual sales. That figure is enough to bring the emo groundbreaker into the top 10 on the Billboard 200, where My Chemical Romance has now scored four wins and where the title also reaches a new high point.
