The Sun has revealed how Shaughna fell pregnant despite Billy's sentence coming home Pregnant Shaughna Phillips says boyfriend will be released from jail 'within weeks' as she reveals baby's due date Click to share on X/Twitter (Opens in new window) Click to share on Facebook (Opens in new window) SHAUGHNA Phillips has revealed her boyfriend Billy Webb is set to be released from prison and will be present for the birth of their second child. Love Island star Shaughna, 31, was quizzed about Billy - who was jailed in 2023 on drugs charges - during an Instagram Q&A. Pregnant Shaughna replied: 'Yes! We definitely wouldn't have tried for this baby if he wasn't going to be here. 'I'm so intrigued to see how he's going to be at the birth because he is not good with blood AT ALL. 'So I feel like watching him react will take my mind off of what is happening.' Shaughna also shared her due date with fans, adding "Technically I'm due in November, but will likely be having a planned c-section so more than likely the baby will be here in October." Shaughna and Billy are already parents to two-year-old daughter Lucia. The Sun recently revealed how Shaughna and Billy managed to try for a baby despite his sentence. An insider said: 'Billy has been in a Category D prison, which means he has been able to spend a fair bit of time with Shaughna. 'He even managed to be home over Christmas, which meant a lot to her and, of course, Lucia. He hasn't been released as many people thought, but he has a lot of privileges.' Category D prisons - also known as open prisons - have minimal security and "low risk" inmates are allowed to leave the site to work, "resettle" or attend education during the day. Island's Shaughna Phillips announces she's pregnant with baby number two and says daughter will be 'best big sister' In November Shaughna shared a sweet clip of them visiting Santa with Lucia. She said at the time: 'If you had told me this time last year, that me and Billy would be taking Lucia to see Santa next Christmas, I probably wouldn't have let myself believe you 'The best couple of days, this Christmas is going to be so special.'

Pregnant Shaughna Phillips shares surprise over second baby's gender
Love Island star Shaughna Phillips, who only recently announced her pregnancy, teased her baby's gender in a recent social media post Love Island star Shaughna Phillips teased the gender of her baby in a social media post shared with fans during a Q&A session. The TV personality, who got pregnant with her second child with boyfriend Billy Webb while he was still serving prison time, announced her pregnancy last week. During a Q&A with her Instagram followers, one fan asked: "So pleased for you! Are you going to find out the gender?" Shaughna shared a screengrab of herself from a longer video where she was seen with her mouth wide open in shock. She wrote: "We do know the gender, this was my reaction." The star added she's due to give birth in November but will be undergoing a C-Section after having a 'rough' birth with daughter Lucia, who she also shared with convicted drug dealer Billy. Speaking about Lucia's birth, she said: "Induction, 2 days labour, pushed for an hour and she was not moving, She got really stressed and was rushed for forceps which FAILED because she turned around, and then she was rushed for an emergency C-Section and ended up with a postpartum haemorrhage." The star got pregnant during a brief home visit from her boyfriend Billy Webb – who's currently serving a nine-year sentence for Class A drug offences. Billy was sentenced to nine years in prison pleading guilty to conspiracy to supply 4.5 kilograms of cocaine worth at least £360,000. Shaughna said she planned the pregnancy, even tracking her ovulation to boost her chances of conceiving, but was stunned that her baby dream came true so quickly. 'It was the first time that my ovulation window coincided with Billy being home,' Shaughna said to The Mirror. 'I was like, 'You know what? Why not? Let's just see'. And literally, the next day, I said to Billy, 'I think I'm pregnant.'' Her gut feeling was confirmed ten days later, when multiple pregnancy tests showed up positive. 'I found out very, very early on,' she added. 'I was doing maybe five tests a day. I'm not even exaggerating.' Shaughna said Billy, who went to jail in 2023, is allowed out on home visits"a few days" every month. And while she has so far been forced to raise her daughter as a single parent, the star says Billy is due for early release and should be reunited with his family in time for their new arrival. 'I know the date that he's due to be home, but I'm not saying it just because anything could happen,' she added. 'But hopefully he will be fully home before my baby is due.'

MAFS stars Billy and Awhina dive into new Perth dating show
Reality TV stars Billy Belcher and Awhina Rutene are set to dive headfirst into Perth's newest dating show, a YouTube series titled 1ROSE. But it won't be as hopeful singles — with larrikin Billy set to be a host on the show, and his former MAFS co-star Awhina to provide commentary. The speed dating series is a progression of the intimate event format that launched in Perth last year, with the 'unscripted social experiment' evolved to suit an online audience. 1ROSE announced its casting call on Thursday night, with each individual event capped at 16 singles. Awhina told PerthNow the fast-paced dating environment will take some of the guesswork out of those awkward social situations where you might be interested in someone, but are not sure if they feel the same. 'It's not like when you go to a bar or nightclub and you're trying to gauge whether someone's in a relationship or not, and whether they're just out for fun,' she said. 'And then there's also those questions that you don't necessarily ask when you're out at a bar. So I guess it takes a lot of the grunt work out of it.' With surprise rounds, unexpected twists and cash prizes, there is also a hidden match allocated to each participant based on their pre-filled criteria, with only the audience clued into the moment their pre-ordained meeting unfolds. At the end of the night, a dramatic rose ceremony will see participants asked: Who will be your 1ROSE? Created locally, 1ROSE founder Gabe feels the show will be a first of its kind in WA, and an alternative platform for those who have exhausted typical pathways to love. 'We believe this concept will offer Australian audiences something fresh and engaging, especially Perth, as this could be the first Perth dating show produced,' he said. Perth online personality Amy Priya will be a presenter on the show. Credit: 1ROSE Local personality Amy Priya will be 1ROSE's main presenter, aiding Billy and Awhina in guiding local singles along the ride. Unlike his MAFS co-star, 'cheeky English chap' Billy is an experienced campaigner in Perth's dating scene, and admits 'it's hard because it's very small, and there aren't too many places you can go to meet new people'. 'We find that these days people sit behind their phone and swipe right or left, but this show gives you the chance to communicate and see if you have chemistry with another human instead of an iPhone,' he said. So who should apply? Almost anyone — 'Just make sure you're not to shy, and you can have a laugh, that's all we want'. The reality TV favourite promises viewers and participants 'lighthearted banter, lots of laughs, and I'll also be asking the hard questions'. 'But my role as the host is to make your experience the best it can be,' he said. Aside from joining forces on their next project, Billy and Awhina have regularly been spotted together in their native Perth and often appear on each other's social feeds. However, Awhina was reluctant to put a label on their relationship following MAFS. Though, she's welcomed having someone to lean on throughout it all. 'Billy and I... we've got a fantastic friendship,' she teased. 'We've had such overwhelming support from the public, and it's really nice because, post show, I don't really know anyone in the media, I don't have friends that are influencers, so it's been really nice having Billy as my support person, especially when I found it really tough at times.' As for their next on-screen adventure, Awhina said Billy can't wait to get in front of the camera once more. 'He's like a golden retriever at the moment,' she joked. 'I know it's a dating event, and the singles are there to get to know each other, but Billy likes to be the main character.' With the show's first events being held in Perth, 1ROSE plans to expand into other cities in the future. Keen applicants can head to the show's website or casting form here to apply.

The NYT Mini is a quick and dirty version of the newspaper's larger and long-running crossword. Completed New York Times Mini crossword for Friday, June 27. It took me 0:46 to complete today's NYT Mini. I am annoyed with myself over this one! I was so close to a very fast time. The beach clues were all easy, and I correctly guessed TORE. But SOY slipped my mind for a moment. I didn't get the POSTS clue at all at first (I realized much later it refers to social media posts that fill feeds on apps), and had no idea what letter might go after 'post' given that clue, so I figured I had to have made a mistake somewhere. I took a beat to look around the grid. MALE and S.N.L. were obviously correct, and I soon realized my self-doubt was unfounded after I got ACHOO and LEERY. That's the end of my current NYT Mini stint. See you all in two weeks!
