IV of Spades makes comeback with single 'Aura' after 5 years
After a five-year hiatus, IV of Spades is back in making some music! The OPM band announced the release of their newest single, "Aura," on Wednesday by sharing the cover art, which features members Zild Benitez, Blaster Silonga, Badjao de Castro, and Unique Salonga in a lush field. "Aura. Out now," the group wrote. The group also changed their display photos on Instagram, X (formerly Twitter) and Facebook. Meanwhile, OPM fans can't help but get excited over their comeback. "Biggest comeback of 2025??" a fan wrote on Facebook. "This was not in my Bingo Card," another user wrote. In 2018, vocalist Unique left the band and has since had a solo career. In 2020, the remaining members of IV of Spades announced that they will be taking a break to pursue personal interests. With James Gunn's highly anticipated film coming to cinemas soon, the cast are currently on a promotional tour, and have now used a British staple to promote their London visit. Coronation Street's Janice and Leanne Battersby, no less. A user posted on X, formerly known as Twitter: "Janice and Leanne Battersby being used in promo for the new Superman film is causing my brain to malfunction".
