Barcelona summer signing bagged his first-ever direct goal contribution for the club on Thursday. This came en route to the Blaugrana's pre-season friendly drubbing of FC Seoul. Hansi Flick's troops marked their return to action a short time ago, making the trip to the South Korean capital for a friendly clash. When all was said and done, Barca emerged on the right side of a dominant 7-3 result. The aforementioned Rashford, meanwhile, was introduced to proceedings off the bench at the interval. And as alluded to above, the Englishman – still settling into Hansi Flick's squad following his arrival from Manchester United last week – went on to make his presence felt. With just minutes remaining in proceedings in Seoul, Rashford laid an inch-perfect pass into the hosts' penalty area, latched onto and dispatched in style by fellow attacker Ferran Torres. FC Barcelona have put up a statement performance at the Seoul World Cup Stadium in their second pre-season friendly in Asia against FC Seoul. After going into the half-time break with a 3-2 lead, the Catalans, with an entirely new lineup for the second period, have made light work of their opponents. Andreas Christensen got the ball rolling with a stunning strike from distance to make it 4-2 for the La Liga champions. Then it was the turn of Ferran Torres, who netted the fifth goal on the day in the 74th minute, with a finish showcasing great composure and skill after being played through by youngster Jofre Torrents. Two minutes later, Gavi, donning the captain's armband, made it 6-2 for the Blaugrana with a brilliant strike. After being found at the edge of the box, the midfield ace performed a brilliant turn to put himself through before unleashing a fine left-footed strike and wheeling off in celebration. While FC Seoul did pull a goal back, Ferran was at it again minutes later to make it 7-3, making a statement and staking a claim for that No. 9 spot in Flick's team. The Spaniard was fed by new signing Marcus Rashford, as he threaded a pass through a crowd, and his attacking partner made the most of it. While it may only be a pre-season game, the way Hansi Flick's players are performing should fill the fans with immense confidence heading into the new campaign.

Barcelona star tipped for first-ever start vs FC Seoul
Barcelona head coach Hansi Flick is giving serious consideration to affording a starting berth to an up-and-coming member of the club's defensive ranks later today. This of course comes as Barcelona prepare for the 2nd outing of the club's pre-season tour of Asia. After opening with a 3-1 downing of Japanese outfit Vissel Kobe, the Blaugrana have made the trip to South Korea, for a friendly clash with FC Seoul. Hansi Flick is expected to rotate his XI for the fixture, with some of those to have missed out against Vissel in line for minutes this time round. One player tipped for as much, meanwhile, is Jofre Torrents. Youngster Torrents was introduced off the bench for his senior debut at the weekend, slotting in at left-back. And the 18-year-old evidently did enough to impress boss Hansi Flick and his staff. Barcelona star Lamine Yamal made use of the opportunity to pay tribute to new teammate Marcus Rashford on Wednesday. This came by way of a celebration after finding the net in training. Frontman Rashford is of course now settled into his new surroundings in Hansi Flick's Barcelona squad. After putting pen to paper on the terms of a season-long loan deal last week, the Englishman has since made the trip to Asia with his new teammates. Rashford was afforded his debut over the weekend, introduced off the bench during the Blaugrana's friendly meeting with Vissel Kobe. And as alluded to above, if the latest footage stemming from the club's training base in South Korea is anything to go by, then the attacker appears to be making a positive impression on those around him. Barcelona 'could be forced to push back Spotify Nou Camp return for a FIFTH time' - as Blaugrana sweat over £1.3bn project's key requirement
Barcelona fans have been hit with news that their Nou Camp return is set to be delayed yet again, with the club reportedly drawing up plans for alternative venues for the start of the upcoming season. Earlier this month, the club were forced to walk back plans to stage the Joan Gamper Trophy, an exhibition match held every August, at the revamped 105,000-seater stadium because of a licensing issue. It was the fourth major delay to the £1.3billion project after the club was unable to meet previous deadlines of November 2024 and February and May of this year. According to Spanish outlet Sport, the Blaugrana are now facing another headache, with the revised return of the September LaLiga clash against Valencia on matchday four looking 'increasingly unlikely' as they continue to wait to receive an occupancy permit from the city council. The council has previously stated that it cannot grant a licence, which they require to host the match, until the stadium works are fully completed. Their report claims that the club could play the fixture at the Estadi Johan Cruyff, where Barca Atletic typically play their fixtures. The club planned to return to the Nou Camp for the start of the LaLiga season is set to be missed Barca have hosted home games at the Lluis Companys Olympic Stadium during the two-year exile from their iconic home but a return to the ground is not possible due to an event in the arena that weekend. The Spanish champions are reportedly still hopeful of making the deadline but they have begun to draw up alternative options in case they are forced to keep their fans waiting even longer for the homecoming. Even once it reopens the Nou Camp will be at a lower capacity, expected to be between 50,000 to 60,000, until renovations are finished, which is likely to be at the start of the 2026-27 campaign. The completion of a new third tier, a roof installation, interior spaces and development of the stadium's surrounding areas still need to be completed. Last season Hansi Flick led the club to their first league title away from the Nou Camp.
