Charli XCX reveals emotional moment during her wedding to 1975 drummer George Daniel
Charli XCX has shared with fans that her new husband George Daniel cried during their wedding ceremony as his emotions got the better of him when he saw the Brat star in her dress Tying the knot is an emotional time for most. But judging by Charli XCX's comment, it looks as though her big day with 1975 drummer George Daniel was too much for him to handle as he broke down in tears. The Brat singer, 32, married her beau in an intimate ceremony at Hackney Town Hall surrounded by 20 of their closest friends and family. And she didn't fail to disappoint when it came to her choice of wedding dress. Charli wore an off white fitted Vivienne Westwood dress for her big day teamed with a matching veil and dark sunglasses. And she completed her look with a pair of white Jimmy Choo heels. After the ceremony, Charli took to the social media platform TikTok to share with fans her wedding dress. She quipped: "When George isn't crying when he sees me walking down the aisle." And it was at this point she informed fans that he had in fact shed a few tears during their ceremony. She quickly added: "Luckily he did." She also shared a sneak peek of the after-party which did not appear to be anything but a wild affair. But this time the singer had changed into another dress for the occasion. The party appeared to be in full swing as in one picture George was pictured wearing his wife's veil while smoking a cigarette. The partygoers seemed full of energy until the small hours of the morning and danced to the singer's own song Like a G6. She captioned the video clip saying: "Bridal party energy!" Meanwhile, even though Charli is adored the world over for her music which appears to have changed the cultural landscape, it seems she also is a secret fan when it comes to films. And one in particular titled the Bling Ring, which stars Harry Potter's Emma Watson. But Charli seems to have taken her film review account incredibly seriously as she had adopted a new name which not many were aware of until it was recently leaked. And she goes by the name of itscharlibb. Charli claims to have watched the film four times and awarded it a five star review. In her TikTok film review account, Charli says: "I feel like it feels more culturally relevant every single time that I rewatch it. When I watch this film, it feels like I'm reading a salacious gossip magazine, which I kind of feel like is the entire point." She added: "Also, I think the fashion is obviously back, like all the wardrobes in this movie kind of look like Addison's (Addison Rae) closet. It's giving high fashion." The Bling Ring is a crime comedy which centres on a group of girls that target celebrities and attempt to burgle their homes. Emma Watson stars alongside Leslie Mann and Katie Chang. And the soundtrack includes artists such as Kanye West and Azelia Banks.

Emma Watson Is Banned From Driving for 6 Months After Speeding
Unfortunately, magic can't get Harry Potter star Emma Watson out of a recent blunder. According to the BBC, the actor is temporarily banned from driving after a speeding incident in Oxford last summer. In July 2024, Emma was caught going 38 miles per hour in an area where the speed limit was 30. Because she reportedly had nine points on her driver's license before speeding, she's facing the consequences nearly a year later. On Wednesday, July 16, she was ordered to pay a fine of £1,044 (or $1,396) and was banned from driving for six months at High Wycombe Magistrates' Court in the U.K. Though she didn't attend the five-minute hearing, the BBC reports that her lawyer, Mark Haslam, relayed the message that Emma 'is in a position to pay the fine.' The Bling Ring star has maintained a relatively low-key profile over the years, as she stepped back from the spotlight to pursue a higher education. On top of earning a degree in English Literature from Brown University in 2014, Emma is currently studying at Oxford University for a master's degree in Creative Writing. While her last movie role was in Greta Gerwig's 2019 remake of Little Women, Emma has also made her directorial debut for Prada's Paradoxe fragrance campaign in August 2022. 'When Prada asked me to be the face of their new fragrance campaign, I asked if I could direct it,' she shared on Instagram at the time. 'Months later, and I'm able to share the results of the faith they shared in me, with all of you. I can't wait to share this piece of my art, and hope that you enjoy it as much as I enjoyed making it.'
