Tyla Summer Kicks Off With ‘WWP' Mixtape
Tyla has released her new mixtape WWP (We Wanna Party). The four-song collection features previously released singles 'Bliss' and 'Is It,' along with two new songs. The pop phenom's steamy new collection kicks off with 'Dynamite' featuring Wizkid, which she had previously teased at a fan event along with a song titled 'Chanel,' which does not appear on the mixtape. On 'Mr. Media,' she takes aim at her critics. 'And it was still good, like, after three years! I just told him, 'Let's finish it because I want to drop it'.' Tyla debuted 'Bliss' back in May then rolled out 'Is It' earlier this month. After she premiered the latter, she revealed that the release of WWP was imminent. She dropped a pre-save link for the collection and included the hashtag #TYLASUMMER. 'Bliss' was first previewed during her Coachella performance then officially released a few weeks later. In May 2024, Tyla released her highly-anticipated self-titled debut LP, which followed the success of her 2023 smash hit 'Water.' A Rolling Stone review of the record praised Tyla's debut, and said the album 'shows she's up to the challenge; amapiano probably couldn't ask for a more effective ambassador.' The South African star nabbed her first Grammy with 'Water,' for Best African Music Performance. At the time, Tyla told Rolling Stone, 'It changed my whole life.' They get to sign up for tickets on the website which describes the mixtape launch as an occasion bigger than just a 'party' but it is a 'movement' Tyla has been reshaping the sound of Amapiano with her blend of R&B and Pop and she is set to continue taking the sounds to global charts. The London and Berlin 'Tygers', as Tyla's fans are referred to, will get to party with her in person and create unforgettable memories with the star. On July 11, the superstar released her second single of 2025, 'Is It', which has been impressively going up the music charts since its release date. According to the Spotify daily charts, 'Is It' has broken a record, receiving 1,274,357 streams on its first day on the music streaming platform. This marked her biggest day debut ever. 'Love you guys!!!!!! Another broken record, thank you,' said Tyla on her Instagram broadcast channel. The latest single dropped simultaneously with a music video on YouTube that had fans in a frenzy. The video garnered 762,000 views on the first day of its release.

EXO's D.O. tops iTunes chart in 20 regions with 1st solo LP
Doh Kyungsoo, also known as D.O. of EXO, claimed the No. 1 spot on the iTunes Top Albums Chart in 20 regions with his first solo full album, his agency Company Soosoo said Tuesday. He rolled out the 10-track LP 'Bliss' on Monday and focus track 'Sing Along!' topped the iTunes Top Songs Chart in 10 regions. The singer co-wrote the words for the lead single written and produced by fellow musician and close friend Zico. On July 19-20, he will host a live show in Seoul before he begins touring Asia. He is set to visit Bangkok, Taipei, Jakarta, Manila, Singapore, Kuala Lumpur and Macao and go live twice in Tokyo in late October. Later this year, the singer and actor will appear in Disney Plus series 'The Manipulated,' a drama adaptation of 2017 movie 'Fabricated City.'

EXO's D.O teams up with Zico for 1st solo LP
D.O of EXO, also known as Doh Kyungsoo, joined forces with Zico for his first solo studio album, agency Company Soosoo said Friday. The track list for the LP 'Bliss' shows ten songs from the upcoming release, including lead single 'Sing Along!' The two musicians co-authored the lyrics of the song, and Zico participated in writing the melody. The album will be rolled out on July 7, but D.O will upload five live clips of songs before the full album release. The LP comes more than a year after his third solo EP 'Blossom,' which topped the iTunes Top Albums Chart in 36 regions. After dropping the album, he will embark on a tour in Asia, a first for him as a solo act. He is slated to perform in nine cities, from Seoul and Jakarta to Bangkok and Tokyo.
