We sit down with Hannah Presley, Curator of a major new exhibition at the Buxton Contemporary featuring artists Hayley Millar Baker, Hannah Gartside, Aneta Grzeszykowska, Glenda Nicholls, Lisa Waup and Lena Yarinkura, running from 27 June to 1 November 2025. NITV Radio also talks with a curator and artist Gülsen Özer as the BodyPlaceProject presents ngurrak-al marram-u / body of the mountain exhibition. An experiential exhibition that reveals and generates connection between humans and the land through embodied and place-responsive art. In one of the final steps on the truth telling journey, Yoorrook Justice Commissioner Travis Lovett welcomed by over five thousand people gathered at Victoria's parliament house . Gunditjmara man, Travis Lovett finished his nearly 500 kilometre trek across the state.

Gülsen Özer is the Ultimate Collaborator as Curator and Artist for Body of the Mountain
'Ngurrak-al marram-u / body of the mountain' a group Exhibition by The BodyPlaceProject. NITV Radio speak with assistant curator and artist Gulshen Özer, who not only played a role in bringing the many artworks together for this exhibition, but also created a deeply collaborative work with contributing artists. Gülsen's work will include song, sounds and music made with Aarti Jadu, Mandy Nicholson, Lyrebird Choir and Dallas Hill, she says "I saw how it was transformative singing with and to Country". Gülsen Özer shares the details of many of the works included in Curated by Gretel Taylor in collaboration with artists Mandy Nicholson, Aarti Jadu, Rebecca Murray, Mandy Nicholson, Jill Orr, Laki Sideris, and Tammy Wong Hulbert, saying "i think it is people s birth right to participate in the arts and dance" Ngurrak-al marram-u / body of the mountain exhibition by BodyPlaceProject is at Burrinja Gallery, Upwey 24 May – 13 July 2025.

Ngurrak-al Marram-u / body of the mountain: Gretel Taylor takes us behind the exhibition walls
NITV Radio's Ngaire Pakai speaks with curator and artist Gretel Taylor about her art practice, the connections forged in the mountains and the artworks in response to a 3-day walking residency. Gretel Taylor takes on many roles through out the process of the the exhibition Ngurrak-al Marram - u/ Body of the Mountain, where as an artist in response to Country she devised a dances and endurance performance over 12 hours filmed in situ. As a curator Gretel shares insights on some of the many artists and artworks that will be showcased at the exhibition. The exhibition ngurrak-al marram-u / body of the mountain by BodyPlaceProject will be at Burrinja Gallery commencing from 24 May – 13 July 2025.
