Shankar Mahadevan Opens Up About His Hair Restoration Treatment

Over the years, several celebs have publicly opened up about undergoing treatment to regain their hair growth. The latest one to join the bandwagon is singer and composer Shankar Mahadevan. During an interview, the musician shared that his decision was motivated by his desire to project a more youthful and confident image, both personally and professionally. Shankar said, 'You know, seeing friends and people around you go through similar changes makes you realise how much it may improve your personality. That's when it hits you: so many people in our country go through this quietly, but it makes such a significant difference," as quoted by ETimes. He credited producer Boney Kapoor for introducing him to the hair expert for his treatment. 'My friend Boney Kapoor recommended me to Dr. Pradeep Sethi. Initially, I thought it was only about hair, but seeing Dr. Sethi disclosed something much deeper. He made the entire experience so smooth, professional and I barely noticed when the transformation was complete," said the singer. Known for his compositions in several notable films, Shankar further recalled a heartfelt moment during the time he was working on Aamir Khan's 2007 hit film Taare Zameen Par. He said, 'During the composing process, we were in Chennai, and Aamir Khan's mother was ill. We were staying at a hotel near the hospital, and we wrote one of the film's essential tracks right there, in a small hall with a simple musical setup. It reminded me that music does not require grandeur, only authenticity and passion." He is currently getting praise for his amazing composition in Aamir's recent release Sitaare Zameen Par. The soundtrack, composed by Shankar-Ehsaan-Loy, is being applauded for its celebratory and feel-good vibe, a departure from the more emotional tone of Taare Zameen Par. Apart from that, Shankar has also composed songs in films like Kabhi Alvida Naa Kehna, Mission Kashmir, Dil Chahta Hai, Kal Ho Naa Ho, Main Hoon Na, Bunty Aur Babli, Rock On, Salaam-E-Ishq, My Name Is Khan and Wake Up Sid, among others. "Meaningful and very fruitful meeting": Boney Kapoor meets UP CM Yogi Adityanath
New Delhi [India], June 26 (ANI): Film producer Boney Kapoor met Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath. On Thursday, Boney posted a picture on Instagram where he offered a flower bouquet to the CM. He wrote, 'Had a meaningful & very fruitful meeting with Shri Yogi Adityanath ji Hon'ble CM of UP.' Recently, Boney Kapoor's company, Bayview Projects LLP, on Tuesday submitted the detailed layout plan of the Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath's dream project, the 'International Film City,' to the Yamuna Expressway Industrial Development Authority (YEIDA), officials said. YEIDA will now review the plan, and after giving the necessary approvals, formal construction work of the film city will begin, according to the press note by YEIDA. The International Film City is planned to be developed over 1,000 acres in Sector-21 along the Yamuna Expressway. The first phase will kick off on 230 acres of land, with an estimated cost of Rs 1,510 crore. CEO Arun Veer Singh made it clear that construction will fully follow the agreement, and no changes will be accepted without approval. He said that Bayview Projects LLP, selected as the highest bidder by offering 18 per cent of gross revenue share, was issued the Letter of Award last year. As per the press note, separate NOCs for parking, landscaping, and gardening will be required for approvals. On June 27, 2024, YEIDA and the concessionaire representative Boney Kapoor signed the concession agreement. As per this, the site's right-of-way was transferred to the concessionaire on February 27, 2025. The master plan of the Film City was approved on January 30, 2025. The project will be completed in three phases over the next eight years. In the first phase, construction will take place on 230 acres, and in the future, expansion will happen on the remaining 770 acres in phases 2 and 3. The first 155 acres will be used for building main structures such as film studios, sound stages, post-production units, and a film institute. Additionally, 75 acres will be developed into a commercial center with retail, offices, and entertainment complexes, but this will start only after the film-related buildings are completed. Rajiv Arora, GM of Bayview Projects LLP, said construction will begin immediately after all approvals. He said, 'We will build a Film City that will fulfil Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath's dreams.' Notably, Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath will lay the foundation stone for the project. The proposed International Film City in Sector 21 is a historic step toward making Uttar Pradesh a national and international film production hub. It will not only create jobs and attract investment but also promote the state's cultural heritage. For film lovers and youth, this project will be more than just a job opportunity; it will be a platform to fulfil their dreams. This project is expected to create about 500,000 direct and indirect jobs. The upcoming International Film City will include a grand convention centre with 10,000 seats, where big film ceremonies and events will take place. Along with this it will include, a museum based on Indian cinema, a special film festival area, which will have a guest house and an auditorium, separate accommodation facilities for artists, small studio units with different Indian architectural styles, which can be rented for shooting or staying and large sound stages and an underwater shooting studio. Veteran actor Anil Kapoor recently paid a visit to the pilgrimage centre of Rishikesh in northern India. He was accompanied by his brother, the movie producer Boney Kapoor. Nirmal is also the grandmother to the latest generation of the Kapoor clan - Arjun Kapoor, Sonam Kapoor, Janhvi Kapoor, Khushi Kapoor, Harshvardhan Kapoor, Shanaya Kapoor, and Mohit Marwah. Previously, Anil remembered the "remarkable woman," who was responsible for keeping the family together through a social media post.
