'End of an era': Giuliana Rancic speaks out after E! News canceled
It's the #endofanera, according to longtime E! News host Giuliana Rancic. The former E! News host spoke out in a heartfelt Instagram post after the entertainment news program's cancellation was announced July 24, telling fans that "for 20 incredible years, E! News was my second home and family." Rancic starred on E! News from 2005 to 2021, joining as a cohost in 2006, including some hiatuses. Rancic, arguably one of the show's biggest stars alongside former on-air anchor Ryan Seacrest, left the show after the program's indefinite hiatus in March 2020 due, in part, to the network's suspension of all in-studio work amid the COVID-19 pandemic. The program will continue to air new episodes through Sept. 25. and E! plans to maintain its digital presence with its E! Online website. Staffers were informed of the cancellation on Thursday, July 24, and new episodes are expected to return next week. E! News to go off the air in fall 2025 in second cancellation "As the show comes to an end, I feel so fortunate to have been a part of this pop culture phenomenon that aired in over 100 countries and allowed me to travel around the globe meeting the most amazing and loyal viewers," Rancic wrote on Instagram. "Thank you to every single one of you for letting us into your homes every night," Rancic continued. "Anchoring E! News was my dream job and the professional honor of a lifetime #endofanera." The show returned in November 2022 after it was revived as a late-night news program, co-anchored by actress-singer Adrienne Bailon-Houghton and host Justin Sylvester, who found fame first on the "Real Housewives of Beverly Hills." After Bailon-Houghton departed, ex-"Entertainment Tonight" correspondent Keltie Knight joined Sylvester as cohost. "E! News," known for its punchy insider look at the entertainment industry, was originally hosted by reporter Dagny Hultgreen. Over the years, the newscast has featured on-air talent including Rancic, Seacrest, Jason Kennedy, Zuri Hall, Terrence Jenkins (better known as Terrence J), Maria Menounos and Catt Sadler. Some "E! News" correspondents will transition over to Versant, a spin-off of parent company NBCUniversal, although specific job opportunities have not been finalized. E! will continue to air its non-news programming, which includes reality-TV shows such as "Botched Presents: Plastic Surgery Rewind" and "Honestly Cavallari: The Headline Tour," as well as upcoming series "Kimora: Back in the Fab Lane" and "E!'s Dirty Rotten Scandals."

‘E! News' Canceled After 32 Years on Air
'E! News' has been canceled — again. The celebrity-focused newscast will continue airing new episodes until Sept. 25 on E!, which is spinning off from NBCUniversal and will be folded into the new, publicly traded company Versant (formerly known as SpinCo). The cancellation comes three years after 'E! News' returned from a two-year hiatus, after it was initially axed by E! in 2020. The series, originally a daytime program, returned as a late-night broadcast. More from Variety Tammy Filler Moves From E! News to NBCU Ad Deals 'E! News' Nightly Broadcast to Return After Two-Year Hiatus (TV News Roundup) 'E! News,' 'Pop of the Morning,' 'In the Room' Canceled Amid Greater NBCUniversal Restructure (EXCLUSIVE) The decision to cancel the show is said to have come from the E! network, as it looks to leverage its brand of entertainment coverage and commentary across digital and social platforms. A source indicates that as news consumers demand real-time digital coverage, a broadcast during the 11 p.m. slot (which 'E! News' has occupied since 2022) no longer best serves the audience. E! boasts a growing digital presence with 87 million followers across social media platforms. Thursday's broadcast of 'E! News' will be a repeat, but new episodes will resume next week. E! informed the roughly 20 employees at 'E! News' of the cancellation Thursday morning. Some 'E! News' linear correspondents are expected to transition over to Versant in yet-to-be-determined capacities. E!, the linear network, continues to air original series including 'Botched Presents: Plastic Surgery Rewind' and 'Honestly Cavallari: The Headline Tour.' It recently announced upcoming series 'Kimora: Back in the Fab Lane' and 'E!'s Dirty Rotten Scandals.' The network will also continue to have a presence on Hollywood red carpets with 'Live From E!' E! News canceled after 32 years as network shifts focus to digital platforms
After more than three decades on air, E! News has been canceled once again. The iconic entertainment newscast will end its run on September 25, 2025, as the E! network shifts its focus toward digital and social media platforms. The cancellation comes three years after E! News was revived following a two-year hiatus. Originally a daytime show, the program returned in 2022 as a late-night broadcast, airing at 11 p.m. The decision to cancel the show reportedly comes from E! executives who believe the late-night format no longer aligns with modern audience demands for real-time digital content. A source from the network cited the brand's strong digital presence—with 87 million followers across platforms—as a key factor in the pivot. The E! network is currently transitioning as it spins off from NBCUniversal and merges into a new publicly traded company called Versant, formerly known as SpinCo. Employees of E! News were informed of the cancellation on Thursday. Around 20 staff members were affected, though some correspondents may transition to roles within Versant in yet-unknown capacities. Despite the cancellation, E! will continue to produce original series such as Botched Presents: Plastic Surgery Rewind and Honestly Cavallari: The Headline Tour. The network also plans to maintain a red carpet presence with Live From E! and will air the Critics Choice Awards on January 4. The end of E! News marks a significant shift in celebrity news broadcasting, as legacy programs give way to fast-paced digital formats.

Aubrey O'Day Removes Lip Filler
Aubrey O'Day is opening up about her experience with cosmetic procedures — including her decision to remove her lip filler. Aubrey, 41, has long denied getting plastic surgery, but she has admitted to getting Botox and lip filler. On Wednesday, she spoke to Entertainment Tonight about the ongoing discussion surrounding her appearance and what led her to undo the work she had done. Aubrey said, "According to the internet, [I've had a lot of plastic surgery]. And by the way, if I look at the photos they use, I really would believe it. Like, they're taking Photoshopped photos from years ago, and they're putting it next to something. It's, like, your face develops. I was a kid when I started. I was 100 pounds. I didn't have any development." "And so I just get murdered left and right for all these things that everybody thinks," Aubrey shared, "when really, I got lip fillers that were like, invading my face. And I thought they really looked good until they took 'em away and I got to see that I was trippin.' Good God! I'm so happy those lips are off my face." Aubrey added, "When I see photos with the lip injections, I'm disgusted. I thought I was killing it, and I was not, ever was I killing it with those big, giant [lips]. When people would say 'duck lips,' I'd be like, 'They're just jealous,' oh no, they were trying to tell me. Some people aren't haters, some people really are trying to guide you better." Regarding why she ever got lip fillers, Aubrey pointed to their widespread popularity and availability. "So many people in L.A. have big, fat lips that are done by doctors that just give it to you for free," she stated. "And the doctor kept having me come in and kept doing it for free, and I was just keeping up with the Joneses, but I didn't realize it was taking over my face." Now, Aubrey says, she looks so much "younger" after dissolving her filler, which is noticeable from the interview: But that's not all she had done. She also revealed that she got a breast lift in January following her appearance on E's Botched Presents: Plastic Surgery Rewind — which follows her and other celebrities who are thinking about reversing their cosmetic procedures — after years spent "taping them up." "Now these things are just sitting," Aubrey gushed. "No bra, no tape, no nothing. They're just up. They're back like my 21-year-old titties, and I love it. So I would tell everybody that surgery was great, I'll tell you the surgeon. They look amazing. Like, very, very minimal scars. I'm so happy that my boobs are finally back where they deserve to be after all the work I've done in my life." Watch the full interview here:

Alan McGarry shares reason they reversed cosmetic procedures on US reality show
Our community members are treated to special offers, promotions and adverts from us and our partners. You can check out at any time. More info Content creator Alan McGarry is in a "very good place" since reversing their plastic surgery on a US reality TV show, the influencer has told. Alan is set to star in Botched Presents: Plastic Surgery Rewind, which follows nine celebrities and influencers as they consider whether to reverse previous plastic surgery work and go back to a more natural look. The show, which streams on Hayu from July 10, also features singer Aubrey O'Day and Kim Zolciak of The Real Housewives of Atlanta fame and is hosted by RuPaul's Drag Race judge, Michelle Visage, and plastic surgeon, Dr Terry Dubrow. Alan told Ireland AM hosts Alan Hughes and Muireann O'Connell on the Virgin Media breakfast show that they wish they didn't get plastic surgery when they were younger. Alan said: "Alan is in a very good place. I think I'm not as out there and looking for attention, probably for the wrong reasons or whatever. "I feel really good now I think doing this show, and it sounds very cliche and very cheesy, but it did change my perception of life now, and changed me as a person 100 per cent because I just feel much more confident in myself. Don't get me wrong, I have my days like everybody else, where, you know, you don't feel good, but yeah, I'm feeling much better in myself now." Speaking about why Alan started getting plastic surgery from as early as 19, the Dubliner said: "I suppose growing up, I was, you know, ginger, I was a bit more chubbier, and people used to pick on me. "I just wanted to change my appearance. I just wanted to get away from all those kind of bad names. So I started getting into, like, fillers, because lip fillers, back years ago, were a really big thing. The Jenners were doing it, so I think that was an addiction so we all started doing the trend. "And then, I think I didn't realise when enough was enough so I continued and continued to just enhance my appearance every time I walked into a clinic. But I think I just wanted to fit in. I don't know where I wanted to fit in. I think it was just more so because social media was a really big thing, and I think I just wanted to be a part of that kind of tribe. "I think it was just when you see something, you get influenced very quickly and I just wanted to enhance something I didn't really have, I suppose, when it got a flat lip, I think, I suppose I wanted to have a bigger lip. I think that's the reason why I started doing it." Speaking about wanting to go on the US show, Alan said: "It (The show) came at the right time for me. I was kind of like, not understanding why I'm consistently having work done and why I'm having some surgery, and I was approached to go on the show, and I loved the whole concept, because the concept for me was just like, actually, you know what? This couldn't have come at a better time for me. "To be honest, I didn't even know these types of people were going to be in the house. I didn't even know it was kind of a celebrity show. I just thought it was just normal people, social media people so when I see Michelle Visage as the host, I do scream, because obviously, you know, it's Michelle Visage. She's an icon and amazing. "These were people that I never thought would even have a conversation with me or have a cup of tea with me. We really had a good time. And I'm in touch with Kim (Zolciak) and Larissa from the show," they added. Join our Dublin Live breaking news service on WhatsApp. Click this link to receive your daily dose of Dublin Live content.
