The Boyz discuss 10th EP

The Boyz members discussed their tenth EP 'A;effect' through their agency One Hundred on Monday. The new album comes approximately four months after the group's third full-length album, 'Unexpected.' 'We have high hopes, especially since we are demonstrating a new style,' said Jacob. The main track 'Stylish' is 'simple yet full of confidence,' according to Eric, who believes both the lyrics and performance are catchy. 'My part includes saying 'stylish,' and you will have more fun listening to the song if you concentrate on that,' teased Sunwoo. The new EP includes a band-style unit song, Younghoon pointed out. Q picked up a guitar for the first time to record 'Constellation,' and New said that he found the bandmates practicing inspiring. As for the tour that will follow the album release, Jooyeon hinted that the set list will include a wider range of their music and performances.

Steven Cheung and family at risk of homelessness as lease termination nears

With no means of securing alternative housing as their lease termination date approaches, Steven Cheung and his family are at risk of homelessness. Photo: China Press Despite his ongoing efforts to make ends meet, Hong Kong singer Steven Cheung continues to grapple with financial instability. Back in May, his wife Au Yin Man revealed that they were a month and a half behind on their rent, which amounts to HK$15,000 (RM8,130) per month. She recently disclosed that their landlord had issued a 14-day notice to terminate the lease, leaving the family on the brink of eviction. With no means to secure alternative housing and the termination date fast approaching, the situation has grown increasingly dire. 'My birthday is at a dead end this year. There are six days left, and nothing has changed! It seems that the whole family will be sleeping on the streets soon,' she wrote on Instagram. Au added that their only option might be to seek shelter services, hinting at the possibility of family separation, according to Hong Kong portal Dimsum Daily. This revelation shocked many netizens, who expressed deep concern for the family's well-being – especially for the couple's four young children, aged between two and six. Cheung's career took a hit in 2019 after he announced his marriage to Au while still dating Hong Kong actress April Leung. In recent years, the singer, who was part of the Cantopop duo Boyz, has taken on various jobs to stay afloat – including cable wiring, construction work, distributing fliers and condoms, as well as making food delivery orders.

Steven Cheung's wife hits back after he blames her for losing China job offer

Hong Kong singer Steven Cheung previously accused his wife Au Yin Man of causing him to lose a job opportunity in mainland China. Photo: Steven Cheung/Instagram Controversial Hong Kong singer Steven Cheung and his wife Au Yin Man have been married for six years, but their relationship has been plagued by recurring ups and downs. In January 2022, Au, 33, announced their divorce but reconciled just two days after. Later that year, she hinted at another possible separation, saying she had reached her limit, though the split never materialised. Now, fresh tension appears to be brewing between the two. According to China Press , Cheung, 40, recently accused his wife of causing him to lose a job opportunity in mainland China. In response to the claim, Au took to her Instagram Story to lash out at Cheung, warning that she would go 'even crazier' if he provoked her further. 'I have responsibilities too, so please give me time to go out and work. 'You told me I was the reason you couldn't go back to work in China, but please think about what you had previously done when you went to work there! 'If you keep provoking me, I'll go even crazier. I already have a reputation for being mentally unstable anyway,' she wrote. Au didn't elaborate further on what Cheung allegedly did during his previous stay in China. For the record, Cheung's career took a hit in 2019 after he announced his marriage to Au while still dating Hong Kong actress April Leung. In recent years, the singer, who was part of the Cantopop duo Boyz, has taken on various jobs to make ends meet – including cable wiring, construction work, distributing fliers and condoms, as well as making food delivery orders. Despite his efforts, Cheung and his family continue to face financial hardship. In May, Au revealed that they had fallen a month and a half behind on their rent, which amounts to HK$15,000 (RM8,130) per month. The family received a lease termination notice from their landlord earlier this month.

The Boyz to launch international tour in August: report

The Boyz will be hosting a concert in Seoul in August, according to a local media report on Thursday. The concert will be held in the second week of the month and will mark the beginning of the group's fourth overseas tour, the report added. The 11-member team enjoyed success with its third studio album, 'Unexpected,' which sold over 740,000 copies in the first week, the most for the 8-year-old band. The tour, however, will feature only nine members. The oldest member, Sangyeon, is completing his mandatory military service, and Ju Haknyeon was expelled earlier this month. Ju admitted to and apologized for his private encounter with former adult movie actor Asuka Kirara, but denied allegations that he had solicited prostitution from her. He plans to take legal action against agency One Hundred and the media outlet.

Jesy Nelson brings babies home from hospital

Jesy Nelson has finally brought her twins home from hospital. The former Little Mix singer and partner Zion Foster welcomed daughters Ocean and Story into the world on 15 May, over eight weeks before their due date, and were being treated in a neonatal intensive care unit (NICU), but the couple were delighted to have their girls discharged ahead of Jesy's 34th birthday on Saturday (14.06.25). Sharing a photo of herself looking at her daughters - who wore personalised babygros featuring the slogan 'Happy birthday mummy' - Jesy wrote on Instagram: "My babies made it home for my birthday [teary and white heart emoji] (sic)" The Boyz singer announced her daughters had been born a few days after their birth. She wrote on Instagram at the time: "So… Our beautiful baby girls decided to come at 31 weeks plus 5 days. It all happened so quickly, but we are so blessed that they are here with us, healthy and fighting strong! We've never felt more in love. "Everybody meet Ocean Jade Nelson-Foster and Story Monroe Nelson-Foster. (sic)" Jesy's Instagram post also included photos of herself and Zion cradling their baby girls. Two weeks ago, Jesy - who was diagnosed with twin-to-twin transfusion syndrome, which can put one or both babies at risk, during her pregnancy - opened up about how heartbroken she has been to have such little physical contact with her children while they were in NICU. She wrote alongside a photo of her cradling both babies while Zion beamed at the camera: "Nothing or no one will ever be able to prepare you as a parent for NICU. It's the most scary overwhelming feeling of emotions not being able to feel like you can protect your babies. Naturally as a mother you just want to hold them and comfort them when they cry but you can't because there are what feels like a million wires coming out of them and tubes and masks in the way with people poking and prodding them it breaks your heart into a million pieces." The photo marked the first time the tots hadn't been in separate incubators. She added: "But slowly as the days go by and they get stronger and wires start to come away, moments like this feel like a dream. Having them reunited for the first time ever today was the most magical feeling I will never be able to describe. The strongest little girls I've ever known who really do have the most inspiring story to tell.(sic)"
