What a weekend for live music in Richmond, just days after Dave Matthews Band popped over to hang out. Let's get into it. Thursday, July 17 🧘‍♀️ Do a little sunrise community yoga with One Drop Yoga's Michelle Lee Landon at the Virginia War Memorial. 6-7am. Pay what you can. 🤠 Country music star Brad Paisley is playing at the Amphitheater. 7:30pm. Tickets start at $42 for the lawn. 🏳️‍🌈 The Park RVA by Scott's Addition has LGBTQ+ music bingo with themed playlists and prizes. 7pm. Free. Friday, July 18 🤼‍♀️ Watch some live pro wrestling with a beer at Parlay Bar & Lounge in Scott's Addition. 6-10pm. $23.18. 😂 The second installment of Chuckle Smugglers standup showcase of local comics is back at Black Iris. 8pm and $8. 🥩 The Broadberry has a "Gaga Dance Party" in honor of Lady Gaga, or as the venue describes it: "A reason to defrost your meat suit." 9pm. Tickets start at $25. Saturday, July 19 🎈 The "Trying to Adult RVA" club is having its third annual water-balloon fight at Main Line Brewery. All you have to do is fill your balloons and be a member. 2pm. $5. 🎤 The Tin Pan has a tribute to Fantasia and Ledisi. We'd love to hear them sing "Free Yourself." Shows start at 6pm. $43.17. 🎶 Plunky & Oneness, founded by Richmonder James "Plunky" Branch, is performing at Dogwood Dell's Festival of the Arts. 8pm. Free. 👩🏼‍🎤 If you loved the '80s, you'll love this: A Flock of Seagulls will be at The National, likely playing their iconic song about running all night and day. 8pm. Tickets start at $45. 🏟️ If that's not your thing, Jason Isbell (who has a song that mentions Richmond) and the 400 Unit are at the Amphitheater. 7pm. Tickets start at $30. 🏴‍☠️ And if all else fails, The Hof has a "River City Pirate Ball," tied to how pirates once navigated the James River. There will, in fact, be pirate-themed cocktails. 8pm-1am. $23.18. Sunday, July 20 🍦 It's National Ice Cream Day and Gelati Celesti is celebrating by handing out free scoops from 12:01am to 1am on Sunday morning (aka right after midnight on Saturday) at all 10 of their shops.

G ood morning! It's June 20, and here are the top stories today in the Hamilton area. Wear shorts and a sun hat, because summer is back. The Hamilton area is expecting sun, cloud, rain and a risk of thunderstorms as we head into the weekend and possible heat wave. Environment Canada says the daytime high Friday will be 26 C but feel more like 32. There's a 30 per cent chance of more showers overnight. The Burlington Skyway is scheduled for lane closures this weekend. Local traffic issues in Hamilton and Burlington are expected to crop up because of the bridge rehabilitation work being done by the Ministry of Transportation. The scheduled closure is for two QEW Niagara-bound lanes from 10 p.m. on Friday, June 20 to 5 a.m. Monday, June 23. Racalmutese Festival & Processions will have a rolling road closure Friday from 72 Murray St. W. to James Street to Colbourne Street to MacNab Street to Barton Street to 21 Barton St. W., between 8 and 10:30 p.m. Also, you may bump into some bicycle or pedestrian traffic in the city Friday due to the Arkells Rally. Events happen at 11 a.m. at Arkell and Paisley and then downtown around 2 p.m., when cyclists will meet up at Gore Park for a group ride to Hamilton Stadium. Country star Brad Paisley has December date in Hamilton

Hamilton Arena has added another highly anticipated show to its schedule this year, and tickets are on sale on Friday, June 20. Popular American country singer-songwriter Brad Paisley will play the arena, set to open in the fall, on Friday, Dec. 12 at 7:30 p.m. The show is part of the star's 'Truck Still Works World Tour.' Tickets range from $74.90 to $512.42 and go on sale on Friday at 10 a.m. Go to to buy. The announcement comes after the Hamilton Arena Project announced Italian tenor Andrea Bocelli's show . Bocelli's performance is set for Tuesday, Dec. 9. Days later, Paisley will hit the stage. The singer has won multiple Grammy Awards, was inducted into the Grand Ole Opry and received the Academy of Country Music's 'Best New Male Vocalist' award in 2000. Award-winning country singer coming to Edmonton, Canadian dates added to world tour

A multiple Grammy-nominated country artist will be performing in Edmonton later this year. Country singer Brad Paisley announced nine new Canadian dates for the Truck Still Works World Tour, according to a Monday news release from the Oilers Entertainment Group (OEG). • Download the CTV News App for breaking news alerts on all the top Edmonton stories Paisley is known for his hits including He Didn't Have To Be and Whiskey Lullaby, with each winning Country Music Association accolades. Tickets will be on sale to the general public Friday morning on Ticketmaster. Fan club members can purchase tickets early starting Tuesday at 10 a.m. VIP experience packages, which come with tickets to the show, a backstage tour and an exclusive VIP gift, are also up for grabs at VIP Nation. Special musical guests for the Canadian dates will be announced soon, according to OEG. Brad Paisley will take the stage at Rogers Place Nov. 7.

Here's when Brad Paisley is coming to Ottawa this year

The Canadian Tire Centre announced Paisley is bringing his 'Truck Still Works' world tour to Ottawa on December 13. Paisley will be joined by 'special guests,' according to the Canadian Tire Centre. According to his website, Paisley has won three Grammys, two American Music Awards, 14 County Music Association Awards and 15 Academy of Country Music Awards. Paisley launched the 'Truck Still Works' world tour in May. Paisley will also stop in Hamilton and London during the Canadian leg of the tour. Tickets for the concert in Ottawa go on sale on Friday at 10 a.m.
