Breaking Her Silence Now, speaking on Krazy Rich Koreans alongside fellow artist PSY, Hwasa reflected on the toll the controversy took on her mental health. She opened up about how deeply the criticism impacted her and how she found the strength to endure the storm of negativity. She talked about how the situation left her in a really unstable place, and with the help of her family as well as her staff members, she was able to deal with it properly. She shared that even her parent, provided her support for her daughter. While talking about how her mental health was affected, she shared that during her appearance in Turkiye, she ended up getting sick. She shared that in the airport, she 'suddenly felt really unstable', but her staff members were there for her. 'I'm not exaggerating, my unnies (older staff members) all hugged me at the same time. I just burst into tears right then. They might not remember it, but I could feel that, instinctively, they wanted to protect me. I'm so grateful for that', the 'TWIT' singer added.
