One person dead in two-vehicle car crash in Scioto Township
A two-vehicle crash killed one person in Delaware County on June 28.
Around 5:04 p.m. on June 28 a Buick Enclave struck a Honda Accord head-on while traveling eastbound on U.S. Route 36, according to the Delaware County post of the Ohio State Highway Patrol.
The Buick crossed the centerline and struck the Honda Accord which was traveling westbound.
The driver of the Accord, Brenda A. Farley, 82, of Mechanicsburg, was pronounced dead at the scene, according to the state patrol. The other driver was transported to OhioHealth's Riverside Methodist Hospital with minor injuries.
All occupants were wearing seatbelts at the time of the crash, according to the state patrol. The accident remains under investigation by the state patrol.
