Dan Osborne 1-word reply to Jacqueline Jossa amid Christine McGuinness text row
Reality star Dan Osborne seems to be working hard to win over his wife Jacqueline Jossa again after his texts to ex-model and singleton Christine McGuinness were revealed Towie star Dan Osbourne has never shied away from a series of marital mishaps, and his most recent one involved the ex-wife of TV presenter Paddy McGuinness. The 33-year-old has been adamant that nothing happened romantically between the two and has suggested that these texts were "deep fakes" or even AI. Alongside the alleged flirty messages, the model has shared that Dan had joined her for some nights out to help and lift her spirits after a difficult divorce from her husband. It's thought that the two were comforting one another amidst issues with their marriages. Now, after the texts were unveiled, Jaqueline posted a glamorous photo of her on Instagram, attending the British Soap Awards 2025, and Dan responded with a public comment. Beneath the post of her stunning in a long black gown, the reality star simply commented: "Beautiful!', which received hundreds of likes. At the time of his interactions with the model, it's believed that Dan was still building bridges with his wife, Jacqueline, facing the heat of previous cheating rumours. To add further speculation, earlier this year, The Sun reported that the reality star had in fact moved out of his family home, which he shares with his actress wife, and into a secret place of his own. A supposed source close to Christine said: "She is absolutely adamant nothing sexual happened between them. She also was 100 per cent single at the time and could chat to anyone she wanted," The Sun reported. Meanwhile a friend of Dan's, according to The Sun, shared: 'Dan is devoted to Jacqueline and would hate for any suggestion of impropriety. Of course, it's possible for a man and woman to be mates.' The famous couple first met back in 2013 at an awards ceremony, and by 2014, the two announced that they were having a baby together. Then after the birth of their daughter Ella, the pair got engaged and soon tied the knot at Cheshire Manor House in 2017. However, it wasn't long until things seemed to go downhill, and the two decided to split when Jacqueline was pregnant with their second child together. By the time their baby was born, rumours began to swirl about Dan's fling with Love Island star Gabby Allen, and later, when the two got back together, another ex-Islander, Alexandra Cane. Meanwhile it's been confirmed that the two are still together and that Dan's secret 'lad pad' was in fact just a property investment for financial purposes. Christine, on the other hand, is still amicably living with her ex-husband and has been on a journey of her own recently with the success of her documentary about her struggles with autism. It's believed that the star has recently pulled out of the popular Channel 4 dating show Celebs Go Dating, which comes after her recent relationship confession. Christine has revealed that despite her 11-year marriage to Paddy McGuinness, since she was a teenager, she has been interested in both men and women.

EastEnders star explains missing Phil Mitchell actor after big Soap Awards win
Adam Woodyatt was on hand to collect his EastEnders co-star Steve McFadden's much-deserved win at the British Soap Awards after the Phil Mitchell actor was missing Soap Awards winner Steve McFadden, who plays EastEnders legend Phil Mitchell, missed the ceremony on Saturday night when it took place. As ITV1 aired the big awards on Thursday 5 June, it was his co-star Adam Woodyatt, who plays Ian Beale, who accepted the award on his behalf. Actor Steve doesn't always attend the big events, but this time fans were expecting to see him as he secured the trophy for Best Dramatic Performance at the British Soap Awards 2025. So when actor Adam went up on stage on his behalf, it emerged Steve was not there to celebrate his deserved win. That said, Adam quickly explained the icon's absence, with him taking some time away after such a heavy storyline. Emotional scenes earlier this year, starting late last year, saw his character Phil struggling with his mental health. Events reached breaking point when Phil suffered from psychosis and suicidal thoughts, with him sadly making an attempt to end his life. The portrayal earned actor Steve huge praise after his more than three decades on the show, from cast and viewers. Now he's gone all the way and got the award, but sadly despite "wanting to be there" he couldn't be. Adam explained to the audience that Steve was on holiday after months of filming the tough storyline. In his absence, Adam collected the award and gave an epic speech that moved fans. He said, after appearing to say to the award presenters: "Holiday, holiday," that Steve had been "nervous" about getting the storyline right. He also said, and his cast agreed, that it had been a long time coming for Steve to win the award. Adam shared on the stage: "Obviously I am not Steve McFadden. Steve is on a very well deserved holiday. He would have loved to have been here." Turning to his co-stars in their seats, Adam went on: "For us, isn't it about time he won this? Steve for 35 years has been the most consistent brilliant colleague. "He has been off the scale. I was in the green room with him before he started this storyline, and Steve was nervous. You would think after all the things that Steve has done over all this time, and he was nervous. "I asked him come on mate, what is this about? And he said, 'I just want to get it right'. And I went, you've got it right mate!" With that he raided the trophy in the air, gesturing that it as proof he'd done good and had nothing to worry about. With that the crowd erupted into applause and Adam left the stage. Viewers were thrilled for the actor, taking to X to share their thoughts on his big win. One fan posted: "THE BEST ACTOR IN THE SOAP INDUSTRY FULL STOP!!!! AN ABSOLUTE LEGEND!" Another fan said: "SO SO happy for Steve McFadden. What a legend." A third fan wrote: "About time, congratulations to Steve McFadden."

Emmerdale star's real-life brother sobs as they go head to head for award
It was an emotional night at the British Soap Awards as Amelia Flanagan and her brother broke down in tears during the Best Young Performer Award Emmerdale star Amelia Flanagan was seen in tears when she accepted the award for Best Young Performer at the British Soap Awards 2025. The 16-year-old, who plays April Windsor in the ITV soap won the award for her portrayal of the character, who is the half-sister of Leo Goskirk and daughter of police officer Donna Windsor and chef Marlon Dingle. However, Emmerdale star Amelia wasn't the only member of her family to be nominated for the award. Her brother, William Flanagan was also nominated for his portrayal of Joseph Winter-Brown on Coronation Street. There was no sibling rivalry between the two however, as they engaged in an adorable moment as Amelia accepted her award. In an emotional moment, Amelia sobbed as she took to the stage, paying tribute to her brother in her speech. The star and her brother broke down in tears as her name was announced, with William giving his older sister a standing ovation. Starting her speech, Amelia, 16, paid tribute to her brother. "This means everything. I just want to say, my little brother," as the audience erupted into cheers. "Who I love so much," she continued. Amelia went on to thank everyone at Emmerdale, before concluding with tears in her eyes: "Thank you so much, this means the world to me." Amelia's win came after she took centre stage in a harrowing storyline earlier this year when she ran away from home after falling pregnant. April sadly suffered the loss of her baby daughter in a stillbirth, and has since been struggling to adjust to life back in the village. Over in the cobbles, William's nomination came after a difficult time for Joseph. Last year, the character fell ill, and most recently, we've seen the character left guilt-stricken, after he pranked the emergency services. The family affair doesn't stop there, as William and Amelia's sister Isabella Flanagan is also a soap star, starring as Hope Stape alongside Joseph in Coronation Street. In the soap, Joseph and Hope's prank meant the ambulance could not get to injured Mason Radcliffe in time after a stabbing. Mason later died from his injuries, and Joseph was horrified and tried to report himself to the police. Amelia and William were nominated in the category alongside EastEnders star Sonny Kendall who plays Tommy Moon, and Hollyoaks star Noah Holdsworth who plays Oscar Osborne.
