Cardi B Announces Her Sophomore Album "Am I The Drama?"

"Hearst Magazines and Yahoo may earn commission or revenue on some items through these links." Am I The Drama?, Cardi B's newest album, will finally be released on September 19. It's her first full length project since her breakout debut album Invasion of Privacy in 2018. It has not been revealed yet what collaborators or special guest features will appear on the project. Bardi is back, everyone! Cardi B's fans have been waiting quite literally years for the anticipated follow up to her breakout debut album Invasion of Privacy. Now it seems, the wait is finally over. On Monday, the Bronx-born rapper announced (to much internet fanfare) that her sophomore album titled Am I The Drama? will be released everywhere on September 19, 2025. In true Cardi B fashion, the accompanying album cover is already iconic. For the image, the rapper is dressed in a red bodysuit complete with a swooping attached hood, matching fishnet tights, and some majorly high platform pumps. To add to the drama, Cardi B is surrounded by flying crows and a cloudy sky while she strikes a pose. Cardi B teased the release one day prior for fans, releasing a teaser video clip that helped set the tone for what lies ahead for the upcoming album. Crows also appeared in the quick vignette, following Cardi as she struts through a romantic garden and even appearing on the bust of her black gown. She also released the first single from her sophomore effort last week, an upbeat single girls anthem titled 'Outside'. The rapper opened up to Rolling Stone last year about the long delay between her first album and Am I The Drama? stating that she wanted to ensure that the project she released would ultimately be up to not just her standards, but also fully reflect how she's evolved as an artist. She also welcomed three children with her now estranged husband, rapper Offset, in the time between Invasion of Privacy and now. 'I'm a different person every single day,' she told the outlet of the creative input that went into the record. 'When I'm in a good mood and I'm with my friends, [I'm] like, 'Damn, I want my shit to be played in this club.' But then I might be mad with my man, so it's like now I want to do this song. But then I want to do a pop record. I want to do my sing-y shit.' Here's to hoping it will be worth the wait. Watch this space for updates on Cardi B's second album. Who is Terrance ‘T.A.' Dixon? Ex-hypeman who filed a lawsuit against rapper Fat Joe

Terrance 'T.A.' Dixon, a name not widely known outside music circles until recently, has come into the spotlight after filing a bombshell lawsuit against Bronx-born rapper Fat Joe. Dixon was Fat Joe's hype man for 16 years, amping up crowds, working closely on tours, and sharing in the energy of live performances. He, also known in the music world as Population One, is better known among electronic music fans for his minimal techno beats. Based in Detroit, Dixon has carved a niche for himself in the underground techno scene, with releases on iconic labels like Tresor and Metroplex. Among the most serious claims are 'coercive labour exploitation, financial fraud, sexual manipulation, violent intimidation, and psychological coercion.' Dixon is seeking up to $20 million in damages. The lawsuit details years of alleged abuse, including sexual coercion under duress, surveillance-based humiliation, and forced participation in acts Dixon says he never consented to. 'These sex-based abuses were not private, incidental, or isolated,' the complaint alleges. It also claims Fat Joe used his influence to silence and control those around him. Even more shocking are Dixon's allegations that he witnessed Fat Joe engage in sexual acts with underage girls. The lawsuit names three alleged minors and includes graphic descriptions. 'The allegations against Mr. Cartagena are complete fabrications — lies intended to damage his reputation and force a settlement through public pressure,' said his lawyer, Joe Tacopina, per Variety. 'Mr. Cartagena will not be intimidated.' Dixon's lawyer, Tyrone Blackburn, who has a history of filing lawsuits against celebrities, told The Independent, 'Fat Joe is Sean Combs minus the Tusi.' Blackburn added, 'He learned nothing from his 2013 federal conviction.' 'We didn't just sue a disgruntled former employee trying to revive a false claim from 15 years ago — we sued the lawyer behind it all,' said Tacopina, adding that Blackburn is under scrutiny for unethical legal conduct. God told Cardi B to date Stefon Diggs, and she didn't hesitate to follow the sign

Cardi B says God told her to give Stefon Diggs a chance (Getty Images) In an age where relationships are often broadcast like highlight reels and Instagram captions double as love letters, Cardi B has taken an entirely different route. Her recent voice note on X (formerly Twitter) wasn't just another celebrity confession—it was raw, spiritual, and deeply human. With the honesty of a diary entry and the impact of a sermon, Cardi peeled back the layers of her evolving relationship, one that fans believe involves Buffalo Bills wide receiver Stefon Diggs. Was it fate? Cardi B claims God pushed her toward NFL star Stefon Diggs And this isn't your typical Hollywood love story. According to Cardi, this connection wasn't sparked by slick DMs or flashy meet-cutes. It was orchestrated by something—or someone—much bigger. 'I'm with the person that I am with now because sometimes, I don't know, like, I just feel like God would tell me to give him a chance,' she admitted, with a vulnerability rarely seen from the Bronx-born rapper. 'Which is so weird.' Rapper Cardi B reveals she dated Stefon Diggs because God told her to (Instagram0 In just those few words, Cardi transformed her story into something far deeper than tabloid fodder. After enduring emotional ups and downs, particularly surrounding her long-standing and often-public rollercoaster with Offset, she found herself in a quiet space where someone showed up—not for fame, not for clout, but for her. She detailed those silent struggles: moments of depression, nights of uncertainty, and mental spirals that felt endless. But right then, when she needed it most, came an unexpected yet consistent presence. 'When I had those weird episodes, that's when a n***a would like hit me up or text me out of the mood, checking on me and stuff like that.' There were no fireworks. Just genuine check-ins. In a world that's loud, his care was quiet—and that, Cardi seems to suggest, was what made all the difference. Before fans connected the dots, long before Instagram posts and matching vibes made it official, she was doing something she hadn't done in a while: building slowly. This wasn't about replacing one headline with another. It was about rediscovering trust. 'I built a friendship,' she shared. 'I got to know the person. They get to know me. We still getting to know each other.' For someone whose life has often played out on stages and timelines, this grounded, spiritually-guided journey feels refreshingly different. It's not about perfection—it's about presence. And Diggs, now a wide receiver for the New England Patriots, seemed to understand that perfectly. Cardi and Diggs finally went Instagram official last weekend, ending weeks of speculation. Her heartfelt livestream, shared by Live Bitez, showed a softer side fans adored. Many rushed to the comments with love. 'Cardi u dont owe us no explanation!' one user wrote. 'Even if it don't end in marriage, at least you had fun!' This new chapter hasn't been without noise, though. Offset, her ex and father of her children, took a subtle jab by tweeting, 'Good roll out n PR. Today I pass.' Diggs countered with an icy flex—posting a photo of himself mid-catch with the caption, 'We good...' Still, the noise seems irrelevant to Cardi. Because for her, this wasn't about performance. It was about peace, presence, and perhaps, divine timing. If anything, her story reminds us all—sometimes, healing arrives not with fireworks, but with a quiet text at the right time. Jennifer Lopez kisses multiple dancers at music award show after divorce

Jennifer Lopez (left) performs with a dancer onstage during the 2025 American Music Awards at BleauLive Theater at Fontainebleau Las Vegas on May 26, 2025 in Las Vegas, Nevada. Photo: AFP Jennifer Lopez made out with multiple backup dancers Monday (May 26) when she opened the American Music Awards with a dance set to a medley of nominated songs. The public displays of affection came on the heels of finalising her divorce from Ben Affleck earlier this year. A male dancer smooched the newly single Bronx-born pop star, 55, who then kissed a female dancer during the transition from Benson Boone's Beautiful Things to Teddy Swims' Lose Control . The seven-minute, often steamy performance opened the Memorial Day awards show, which Lopez also hosted. Earlier this month, Lopez posted selfies of her bruised eyes and a cut on her nose she'd suffered '(during @amas rehearsals),' for which she ultimately needed stitches. Also Monday, Lopez revealed she's doing a residency at The Colosseum at Caesars Palace from Dec 30 to Jan 3 and for much of next March. This time a year ago, headlines were rife with speculation that she and 52-year-old Affleck were headed for divorce, during which Lopez canceled her tour. Though Lopez and the Oscar winner were engaged in the early aughts – and ultimately married and had kids with Marc Anthony and Jennifer Garner, respectively – it wasn't until summer 2022 that the stars wed, once in July and again in August. The Love Don't Cost A Thing singer filed for divorce in August 2024, on their second wedding anniversary. The divorce was finalised in January. Lopez recently told Spanish newspaper El País that she's in 'the best' period of her life. – New York Daily News/Tribune News Service
