Brooks RCMP searching for family of found child
Brooks RCMP are trying to reach the family of child who was discovered alone on Highway 1 Friday.
Officers discovered the child around 9 p.m. Friday night, one kilometre east of Brooks walking towards town.
Police canvassed the area but couldn't find the child's family. As of Friday night at 11:14 p.m., there were no reports of a missing child.
The child is described as being around seven years old, with a medium complexion, around four feet tall with black shoulder length hair and brown eyes.
They're wearing an orange t-shirt with pajama-style striped shorts and white socks.
