Multiple fire departments battle blaze at New Ross lumber mill
Fire departments are at the scene of a blaze at a lumber mill in New Ross, N.S.
Firefighter Bryce Keddy with the New Ross Volunteer Fire Department says the fire was called in around 5 p.m. Thursday afternoon.
Four departments are working to battle the blaze at L.E. Elliott Lumber on New Russell Road, including Kentville, Chester Basin and Western Shore.
Keddy says there is no information so far about how large the fire is.
He also says no injuries have been reported.
