During a fan signing at WWE World, a fan approached Rhea Ripley's table and excitedly asked her to sign his adoption certificate. Ripley obliged and hugged her new 'son' afterward. Buddy Matthews came out of AEW Grand Slam Australia somewhat banged up. At AEW Grand Slam Australia, Buddy Matthews challenged Kazuchika Okada for the AEW Continental Championship. During Matthews' entrance, he rolled his ankle. Matthews finished the match, but he limped to the back after the bell. In a post on Instagram, Matthews' wife Rhea Ripley shared a picture in which he could be seen with a crutch. She also implied that he hurt his ankle. 'Ain't no Roly-Poly ankles gonna keep us down!
