Are Bills NFL's Most Entertaining Team?

Are Bills NFL's Most Entertaining Team? originally appeared on Athlon Sports. There are a few quarterbacks who are worth the price of admission just to see them, and one is Buffalo Bills star Josh Allen. Advertisement Armed with a cannon and the running ability of some of the best running backs in football, Josh can do things not many others can on a football field, both throwing and running. That puts him in rare air, and he's coming off an MVP win in 2024. Looking ahead to 2025, the Bills' offense, led by Allen, features Khalil Shakir, Keon Coleman, Joshua Palmer, Dalton Kincaid, and James Cook as its main weapons, which feels like a strong group. But will the Bills be entertaining? USA Today's Michael Middlehurst-Schwartz has ranked all 32 teams based on how entertaining they'll be, and the Bills come in at No. 2, with the Baltimore Ravens taking top spot. Advertisement "Falling just short of the mountaintop has become an uncomfortable throughline for Buffalo in many ways," Middlehurst-Schwartz writes. "At least that's not the case in MVP voting, where Josh Allen seized the award for the organization for the first time since 1991. "Allen's place as one of the most exciting catalysts in the NFL isn't in question even as he enters the final season of his 20s. But for a true Super Bowl breakthrough, Buffalo might need someone from a receiving corps that has been merely good enough to emerge as great, and there's not one figure who appears to be a natural candidate to do so." Buffalo Bills quarterback Josh Allen (17) dives for a first down against the Kansas City Chiefs during the second half in the AFC Championship game at GEHA Field at Arrowhead J. Rebilas-Imagn Images Given what Allen can do on the field, he is the very definition of must-watch, and he could put the Bills at No. 1 just on his presence alone. Advertisement But there are others, with Cook devastating out of the backfield, or Shakir and Coleman doing their work in the passing game. However, let's be truthful, the reason Buffalo is so high is all down to No. 17. He is a unicorn, and puts bums on seats every Sunday, and as long as he is upright, the Bills will always be one of the most entertaining teams in football. Chiefs Push For Major Move Amid Stadium Relocation Rumors

Chiefs Push For Major Move Amid Stadium Relocation Rumors originally appeared on Athlon Sports. There are several teams dealing with matters related to stadium transformation or relocation. The Buffalo Bills will move into their new location in Orchard Park, New York, next season while the Cincinnati Bengals made progress on Thursday to remain at their stadium long term. Advertisement Meanwhile there is another prominent AFC franchise in the realm of stadium real estate. There have been rumors circulating about the Kansas City Chiefs' interest in relocation which now have some legs after a development on Thursday. The Chiefs requested an extension to a June deadline for a financing package from the state of Kansas. This means the possibility of the team moving across state lines from Missouri could become a very real thing in the coming months. Team president Mark Donovan campaigned for the extension in a letter to the Kansas Senate, noting that the team has made "significant progress" on plans for a new stadium, per The Associated Press. "Together... we have the opportunity to bring the National Football League to Kansas, anchored by a world-class domed stadium, new team headquarters, a state-of-the-art practice facility, and a vibrant mixed-use and entertainment district," Donovan wrote in the letter. Advertisement The proposal will be considered at the Kansas Legislative Coordinating Council meeting on July 7. From there a determination will be made on an extension. The Kansas Legislative Coordinating Council is scheduled to meet July 7 to consider extending the incentive deadline. "The letter from Mark Donovan indicates that the drive to bring this historic project to Kansas is moving down the field," Kansas Senate president Ty Masterson said. "Now that we are in the red zone, this extension will provide stakeholders sufficient time to ensure the ball crosses the goal line." This comes on the heels of voters shutting down a sales tax extension that would financed a near billion-dollar renovation project at Arrowhead Stadium. A new domed stadium would streamline more revenue opportunities for the franchise though it would come at the cost of a decades long stay at Truman Sports Complex where the Kansas City Royals MLB franchise is also based. What Ravens QB Lamar Jackson told Mark Andrews after key drop vs. Bills

The Baltimore Ravens had a chance to tie their playoff game against the Buffalo Bills after Lamar Jackson threw a 24-yard strike to Isaiah Likely with 1:33 left in regulation. However, tight end Mark Andrews was unable to haul in the ensuing 2-point conversion attempt. Jackson hit the veteran with an accurate pass on a bootleg to his right, but Andrews simply dropped it. Andrews admitted it was "tough" to cope with his drop, which was ultimately the Ravens' final offensive play of the 27-25 loss that ended their season. Jackson was aware of that in the moment. As such, he tried to do everything he could to make Andrews feel better, as the quarterback detailed in appearance on Kevin Hart's "Cold As Balls" podcast with LOL Network. "I talked to him. I went up to him like, 'Man we all played a part in this game.' I had my turnovers. We shouldn't even be in this situation," Jackson told Hart of his interaction with Andrews. "I know you've been busting your (expletive) all season. Despite what you've been through, we're just gonna have to bounce back. We can't dwell on it." Andrews seemingly took that message to heart. In his first media availability at Ravens OTAs, he told reporters "it's how you bounce back" when asked about the ill-timed gaffe. He also explained he is planning to use it to motivate him during the 2025 NFL season. Jackson is similarly motivated for the upcoming season and believes the Ravens are on the verge of making a Super Bowl push. "We're extremely close," Jackson said when asked by Hart about being a Super Bowl contender. Jackson has played a big role in Baltimore's ascension and posted one of his finest seasons in 2024. He completed 66.7% of his passes for 4,172 yards, 41 touchdowns and four interceptions while adding 915 yards and four touchdowns on the ground. He finished as the MVP runner-up behind Bills quarterback Josh Allen and believes he will continue to improve as he reaches the prime of his career. "As I've been getting older in the league, my mindset has been different," Jackson explained. "The game has gotten a lot easier for me."

30 most important Bills players of 2025: No. 30 T.J. Sanders

As the Buffalo Bills prepare for the 2025 NFL season, we'll take a look at the most important contributors on their roster. They have a ton of cornerstone players who will be returning for another shot at bringing a Lombardi Trophy to Buffalo, and they'll have help from some new additions as well. Leading up to the season, we will be counting down the top 30 most important players on the roster. We'll recap their 2024 season, look ahead to what they'll offer in 2025, and tackle the most pressing questions surrounding them this coming year. First on the countdown is TJ Sanders, a rookie defensive tackle from the University of South Carolina. Background Position: DT Age at start of season: 22 Experience: Rookie 2025 cap hit: Still hasn't signed rookie deal 2024 recap In his redshirt junior season with the Gamecocks, Sanders played in all 13 games and recorded four sacks to go with seven tackles for loss, which was a slight dip in production from the year prior. He showed unique power and athleticism for his frame (6'4", 297 lbs). 2025 outlook Sanders should work his way into the defensive line rotation right off the bat in his rookie year barring a setback. He will most likely backup Ed Oliver on early downs but general manager Brandon Beane talked after draft day about pairing him with Ed Oliver in the middle on clear passing downs. He should add some much-needed juice in the interior pass-rush department. Biggest question: Can Sanders generate consistent pressure at the NFL level? He was one of the more productive interior defensive linemen in college football when it comes to getting after the passer. He had 8.5 sacks from the defensive tackle spot over the last two seasons, which is impressive for an interior defender and a big reason why Beane traded up to select him. The NFL will be a new challenge. A good thing for Sanders is the fact that defenses will most likely focus on his teammates that will be lined up next to him like Oliver, Joey Bosa, and Greg Rousseau, which should open up some opportunities. 30 Most Important Bills of 2025 Check back as we continue to countdown on our list of the 30 most important Bills ahead of the 2025 season.

Julian Edelman, Gronk name QB they'd want if Tom Brady never existed

Imagine a world where seven-time Super Bowl champion quarterback Tom Brady didn't exist. What current NFL quarterback would be the best to captain the ship under center with Rob Gronkowski at tight end and Julian Edelman at wide receiver? Gronkowski and Edelman both chimed in on the hypothetical quarterback switch with two different answers. Most would expect the two to choose Kansas City Chiefs quarterback Patrick Mahomes, a three-time Super Bowl winner. However, Gronkowski instead went with Buffalo Bills quarterback Josh Allen, while Edelman chose Cincinnati Bengals signal-caller Joe Burrow. "Josh Allen, I love his game. It reminds me of myself at the quarterback position. That was a no-brainer for me. That was the first quarterback that popped up in my head," said Gronkowski on the Dudes on Dudes podcast. Edelman agreed that Allen would be a good choice, and he'd be happy with that option. But he ultimately decided to take things in a different direction. "I would love Josh Allen, but I would love to have Burrow," said Edelman. "I mean, you would love to have Mahomes. Our offense is a little different. There's a little more drop-back pass. I don't know, I mean, Mahomes is pretty good, too, but I think Burrow. I don't want someone running as much as Mahomes on those third downs. I want them throwing because I want those third downs." Allen is the reigning NFL MVP, and Burrow put together an MVP-caliber season last year, despite his team letting him down at every turn. Both would have thrived in an offense with the greatest tight end of all time and one of the all-time great slot receivers as go-to weapons. With that said, it's hard to envision anyone other than Brady throwing to Edelman and Gronkowski. The trio cemented a legacy together in New England that might never be topped.
