ANTWERP, Belgium, July 31, 2025--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Azelis (Brussels:AZE): Highlights H1 2025 Revenue of EUR 2.2bn in H1 2025, representing year-on-year increase of 0.6% (+3.3% on a constant currency basis), with 1.2% organic revenue growth and 2.2% revenue growth contribution from acquisitions offsetting the negative F/X impact during the period. Gross profit of EUR 515m resulting in gross profit margin of 23.9%. The 68 bp gross margin contraction reflects the mix effect from higher growth contribution from Industrial Chemicals and the Group's less mature businesses. Adjusted EBITA of EUR 234m results in adjusted EBITA margin of 10.9%, and conversion margin of 45.5%. The EBITA and conversion margins do not yet reflect the full benefit of cost savings measures announced at the beginning of Q2. Net profit of EUR 85m represents a decline of 14.6% over the prior year, driven by the lower operating profit. Free cash flow increased by 10.8% over the prior year to EUR 151m despite the lower EBITDA. Cash conversion expanded by more than 10 percentage points to 63.8% underscoring the resilient, cash-generative nature of the business model. Two acquisitions were completed in H1 2025, and a third was announced shortly after the close of the period. The three companies had combined annual revenue of over EUR 100m in 2024. Australian Firms Unify Cybersecurity as Threats Increase

SYDNEY--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Jul 30, 2025-- A growing number of enterprises in Australia are taking a centralized, cloud-based approach to cybersecurity amid rising threats, many of which involve AI, according to a new research report published today by Information Services Group ( ISG ) (Nasdaq: III ), a global AI-centered technology research and advisory firm. The 2025 ISG Provider Lens ® Cybersecurity — Services and Solutions report for Australia finds that Australian organizations face increasingly sophisticated, AI-powered attacks but are hobbled in defending against them by overlapping cybersecurity solutions that fail to share information with each other. Many companies are simplifying their defenses while adopting AI tools for more effective, efficient security. 'While AI is starting to significantly change the way Australian companies operate, in the wrong hands, it can also cause serious harm,' said Michael Gale, partner and regional leader, ISG Asia Pacific. 'Fortunately, service and solution providers are using AI to help enterprises detect and prevent attacks.' Use of AI can expose organizations to malicious interference in the training of AI models, which can make models less reliable or cause them to produce biased or inaccurate predictions, ISG says. Organizations in Australia are also increasingly concerned about a growing category of threats enabled by generative AI, especially through voice cloning and the creation of deepfake images, videos and audio clips. These can be used to steal money, extract sensitive information and damage reputations. Narrative attacks use these methods to create false or misleading narratives, including spreading misinformation about vaccines or elections. In response, Australian companies are strengthening identity protection and integrating AI into security operations, the report says. GenAI and agentic AI are increasing the efficiency and productivity of security teams and helping enterprises address the shortage of cybersecurity skills. Cloud security has emerged as a top priority for cybersecurity leaders in Australia after companies rapidly migrated to the cloud to enable remote work during the COVID-19 pandemic, ISG says. Security was often a secondary consideration in these transitions, so organizations kept traditional perimeter-based cybersecurity architectures in place. Now, many are taking a more distributed approach, focusing on endpoints and preventing cloud misconfigurations and vulnerabilities. Enterprises in Australia have often ended up with multiple tools for endpoint detection and response (EDR) and identity and access management (IAM), along with many dashboards that lack integration, the report says. Increasingly, cybersecurity leaders in these companies are narrowing down their defensive systems to one or a few cloud-based platforms. "Allstate had strong operating and financial performance in the second quarter while executing our growth strategies," said Tom Wilson, who leads The Allstate Corporation. Adjusted net income* was $1.6 billion, $5.94 per diluted share, which excludes a $643 million gain from the Employer Voluntary Benefits business divestiture." "In addition to strong financial results, we are creating shareholder value by increasing growth and proactively managing investments and capital. Total policies in force increased to 208 million, 4% higher than last year, led by Protection Plans. Personal property-liability policies have begun to grow due to expanded distribution, new products and increased marketing. Protection Plans continued to expand with international revenues up 30% above the prior year. The $77.4 billion investment portfolio generated $754 million of income in the quarter while lowering overall portfolio risk. Redeployment of capital out of the health businesses was completed on July 1 with the sale of Group Health, bringing total divestiture proceeds to $3.25 billion for this segment," concluded Wilson. The company reported revenue of QAR 3.073 billion, an 87% year-on-year increase. Gross profit soared by 134% to QAR 1.054 billion, while EBITDA rose 97% to QAR 732 million compared to H1 2024.
