Tickets for West End's The Lion, the Witch, and the Wardrobe
The spectacular show, celebrating the 75th Anniversary of the publication of C.S. Lewis novel, opened at Leeds Playhouse on in December 2024. It is now set to tour UK venues, including a return to London this summer. The magical tale will come to Llandudno's Venue Cymru, from August 5 until August 9. The show invites theatregoers to step through the wardrobe into the magic kingdom of Narnia where a world of wonder awaits. They will join Lucy, Edmund, Susan and Peter as they meet new friends, face dangerous foes and learn the lessons of courage, sacrifice, and the power of love. Katy Stephens, who plays The White Witch, said: 'The role of Her Imperial Majesty Jadis, Queen of Narnia in this thrilling stage version of The Lion, the Witch and the Wardrobe is something I can't wait to play. The thought of casting a spell over Narnia to make it always winter but never Christmas is simply tantalising. Let the magic begin!' C.S. Lewis' book was first published in October 1950. Since then, over 85 million copies in 60 languages have been sold. It is one of the top ten best-selling books of all time. The stage adaptation of Lewis' iconic book enjoyed a hugely successful, critically-acclaimed London run in 2022. Producer Chris Harper said: 'We can't wait for children and adults alike to join us on this spectacular new journey through the wardrobe, and are proud to be marking the 75th anniversary of the publication of C.S. Lewis' novel with this tour.' The Lion, The Witch and The Wardrobe brings Narnia to life at Scots theatre
Scots can enter the magical world of Narnia as The Lion, The Witch and The Wardrobe stage production arrives in Edinburgh. The West End production kicked off its five-day run at the Festival Theatre in Edinburgh on Tuesday. The show is celebrating the 75th anniversary of C.S. Lewis' classic novel of the same name. Joanna Adaran, who plays Susan Pevensie, said playing a character that was a part of her childhood is 'surreal'. STV News The West-End production kicked off its five-day run at the Festival Theatre in Edinburgh on Tuesday. STV News Kudzai Mangombe, who plays Lucy Pevensie, said the roles came with pressure too. 'These characters really mean so much to so many people, you feel pressure because you want to do it justice,' she told STV News. The show will run from May 13 to 17.
