Will cook his favourite food when he comes home: Shux's mom
Lucknow: Seated together in the packed auditorium of City Montessori School, Shubhanshu Shukla 's alma mater, his family watched live telecast of the splashdown and undocking from the capsule with anxious eyes, here on Tuesday. They were overwhelmed with relief and pride when his safe return was confirmed. Shubhanshu's father Shambhu Dayal Shukla said, "He has achieved this feat on behalf of the entire country, so it is a proud moment for the nation. When the splashdown took place, I thanked God, but I couldn't breathe easy until I saw him undocking from the capsule with a smile on his face. It was the biggest moment of my life. Watching him wave felt like he was telling us he was safe. This is the dream of every father—to see his child reach the stars and return home. Now the whole family is looking forward to meeting him and giving him a collective family hug." The astronaut's mother Asha Shukla said, "I kept chanting prayers the whole time. The cheering in the auditorium was loud, but in my heart all was silent with worry. When he finally splashed down and undocked and I saw his face on the screen, I just folded my hands in gratitude. by Taboola by Taboola Sponsored Links Sponsored Links Promoted Links Promoted Links You May Like Sarkar Nattamangalam - Dads Love This Fat Loss Tool Home Fitness Hack Shop Now Undo I just wanted to see my son safe and smiling.
