Astronomer's HR Exec In Coldplay Storm Married Into Elite 'Boston Brahmin' Clan, Owns $2.2 Mn Home

Kristin is married to Andrew Cabot, the sixth-generation owner of Privateer Rum, a family-run spirits company built on old industrial fortune What began as an ordinary night under the lights of Gillette Stadium where crowds gathered to listen to Coldplay soon became a moment that turned two prominent professionals—and their families—into unexpected fodder for rumour mills the world over. While much has been said—and mocked—about the duo's awkward appearance on the stadium's 'Kiss Cam' that opened a Pandora's box and placed them at the center of a global viral storm, what made the story particularly irresistible to the public was that Kristin Cabot is a member by marriage of Boston's legendary Cabot family—one of the so-called 'Boston Brahmins". Boston Brahmins, often called the First Families of Boston, belong to the long-established, affluent, and socially prestigious families of Boston, Massachusetts. Initially, the term described a collection of upper-class, Anglo-Saxon Protestant lineages that held considerable cultural, social, and political influence in New England from the 1700s through the early 1900s. According to the New York Post, the Cabots are so revered that a famous local poem claims, 'the Lowells talk only to Cabots, and the Cabots talk only to God", emphasising their centuries-long status atop New England's social hierarchy. The report, detailing Kristin's family life, said she is married to Andrew Cabot, the sixth-generation owner of Privateer Rum, a family-run spirits company built on old industrial fortune. The Cabots' wealth originally stemmed from the 'carbon black" industry, key to tire manufacturing, a legacy that has stretched across ten generations in Boston's aristocracy. The Economic Times reported that with over 20 years of experience in HR leadership, Kristin joined Astronomer—one of the US' rising AI-data firms—as Chief People Officer, bringing expertise in organisational design, executive coaching, and leadership transitions. Her marriage to Andrew Cabot added her to the exclusive ranks of Boston's old money, with their family residing in a $2.2 million house, according to ET. THE COLDPLAY SAGA As the video of the drama that unfolded at the Coldplay concert spread, Astronomer's management found it difficult to contain the damage. The company issued a statement saying: 'Although our visibility may have shifted dramatically overnight, our offerings and dedication to our clients remain unchanged." However, on Saturday, Andy Byron resigned from his CEO position, following internal assertions that 'our leaders are expected to set the standard. Recently, that standard was not met". Megan Kerrigan, Byron's wife, was quick to remove her husband's surname from social media and eventually deleted her accounts. Kristin Cabot, meanwhile, was placed on leave by Astronomer. Kristin and Andrew Cabot both have children, and she had previously gone through a public divorce, finalised in 2022, the Hindustan Times added. The Coldplay kiss cam may have lasted seconds, but for Kristin Cabot and her circle, its reverberations will echo far longer. 'Strange 24 hours': Ireland's Andy Byron, namesake of Coldplay viral CEO, says he had to buy his wife flowers

Ireland's Andy Byron (left) spent a strange 24 hours because of his namesake's Coldplay viral video in the US. Ireland's Andy Byron who had to change his LinkedIn bio to 'NOT THE GUY FROM THE COLDPLAY GIG' said he had a strange 24 hours as people from all over the world flocked to his LinkedIn profile to slam him after Astronomer CEO (now former) Andy Byron was caught in the embrace of the company's chief people officer Kristin Cabot at a Coldplay concert in Boston. When people discovered Ireland's Andy Byron on LinkedIn, Astronomer's Andy Byron already deactivated his LinkedIn profile, and his namesake had to absorb all the hatred. Ireland's Any Byron told The Sun said he started receiving messages from strangers asking him casually on LinkedIn whether he enjoyed the Coldplay concert. 'Then I started getting strangers from LinkedIn messaging 'saying you got caught out bad' and how ashamed I should be - a lot of people on a moral high horse," he said. 'The actual Andy took his LinkedIn page down so everyone started messaging me - it got so bad that I had to turn all my notifications off.' Ireland's Andy Byron said he had to remove his creative director job title from his LinkedIn so that people do not make the mistake. 'It made a good excuse to buy her flowers," Andy told, asserting that he was not cheating on his wife. He explained how he went on to cash in on the traction that he got and spoke about himself. 'No, this isn't me. I wouldn't be caught dead at a Coldplay concert... I'm the Andy Byron who makes videos for big screens, not the one who gets caught on them. If you want to make video content that goes viral for the right reasons, let's connect [laughing emoji]' he wrote a post that reached 10,000 likes on LinkedIn. 'It's a coincidence that turned into great marketing for me. One guy from the US with the same name goes viral and I get a load of followers for my business. It's a once-in-a-lifetime thing. If my engagements are like this, I can't imagine what it must be like for them, I'm sure him and the woman he's with are going through hell. If they had just played it off [the kiss cam], I'm sure they would have been fine. But I do have empathy for the families involved," the namesake added. Both CEO Byron and HR chief Kristin Cabot were put on leave and and Astronomer cofounder and chief product officer Pete DeJoy is serving as the interim CEO.

The 14-second clip from Wednesday's Coldplay concert in Boston has since gone viral on social media and online discourse taken its natural course through the quips and quirks of memes and jokes STORY CONTINUES BELOW THIS AD As the pair rushed to hide their faces from the gigantic screen in the sky, Martin said, 'Either they affair or they are very shy'. Quikly junping on the joke wagon, X user Saiam Hasan said, 'This is why I love Coldplay… Concert ke beech mein bhi four singles release kar diye'. The reference, of course, was to two couples possibly going their separate ways. Another X user @HANKonX quipped about the couple caught on a giant screen, 'The face you make when 20,000 people witness your HR violation in 4K. Live by the policy, die by the Jumbotron" As the many jokes were shared online and the clip quickly became office and drawing room conversation, the internet world was seemingly on fire. An X user, Patiencexx4, raised questions about the professional ethics of the 'HR lady'. The craziest thing is about the Astronomer CEO cheating scandal is it was the HR lady. The person who would warn you against fraternizing with coworkers.' 'What was supposed to be a night of music and joy turned into a deeply personal mistake playing out on a very public stage. I want to sincerely apologize to my wife, my family, and the team at Astronomer. You deserve better from me as a partner, as a father, and as a leader,' Byron reportedly said. STORY CONTINUES BELOW THIS AD 'This is not who I want to be or how I want to represent the company I helped build. 'Hug and duck!' BTS Jin cracks up as ARMY bring up Coldplay concert cheating couple in guessing game

No one - literally no one - is ever going to forget what happened at Coldplay's Boston concert on Wednesday (July 16). Astronomer CEO Andy Byron, who attended the concert, was caught on camera sharing an intimate moment with his company's Chief Public Officer, Kristin Cabot. It seems even BTS - despite their busy work schedules - have caught wind of the incident. BTS member Jin lit up the stage in Anaheim during his solo world tour, RUNSEOKJIN_EP.TOUR. As he does at every stop, he played a game of charades with his fans, known as ARMY. This time, the word was "Coldplay" - and things quickly turned chaotic. BTS ARMY reenact Coldplay cheating couple In a video clip shared on X (formerly known as Twitter), the word displayed on the screen was "Coldplay." Rather than simply miming the band's name, ARMY got cheeky and recreated the now-infamous "hug and duck" gesture - a viral reference to the Coldplay concert cheating moment. At first, Jin appeared visibly confused by the exaggerated physical hints. But as ARMY energetically performed the "hug and duck" move in dramatic fashion, he burst into laughter, realizing the clever nod to the scandal. At one point, Jin asked, "Is it my bro?" referring to Chris Martin, with ARMY screaming "Yes!" in response. The moment escalated hilariously until Jin finally guessed "Coldplay" correctly, prompting loud cheers for the playful and well-timed clue. THE WORD WAS COLDPLAY HE GOT IT BECAUSE OF THE HUGGING CHEATING ISSUE FROM COLDPLAY CONCERT The clip quickly went viral, thanks to ARMY's enthusiasm and Jin's infectious laughter - once again proving how BTS and their fans can turn even a simple game into a legendary moment. More about Jin's solo tour The eldest member of the group is currently in the midst of the North American and European legs of his first-ever solo tour, with upcoming shows scheduled in Dallas, Tampa, Newark, London, and Amsterdam. During his Anaheim concert, the eldest BTS member opened up about missing his fellow bandmates and reflected on what it feels like to perform without them. Admitting he had been nervous ahead of the show, Jin shared candidly, "I came here very worried actually. So I don't have my members with me, first of all. And after doing shows I feel like I wasn't in the best condition." He went on to explain how the absence of his members affected him emotionally: "Usually the members next to me would say 'Gwenchana' [It's okay]. But then today when I came here, it's like instead of members, you guys hit the spot and you guys are saying it's okay, it's okay to me." In a heartfelt moment that left fans teary-eyed, he added, "To me, you guys are just as precious as the members." Jin ended his message with a warm and sincere, "Thank you ARMY, I love you ARMY!"
