The beloved character suddenly disappeared six months ago in a shock exit plot that saw him leave his partner and children behind. Actor Jimmi Harkishin appeared on screen as Dev as he reunited with Bernie and son Aadi - just as the pair were trying to plan what to do about Aadi's insurance scam. Last month Aadi accidentally spiked Lauren Bolton with drugs that led to her suffering horrifying hallucinations of Joel. And things have only got worse as Aadi also set up a fake robbery with Brody Michaelis. As a masked Brody rushed out into the street, a passing Lisa Swain froze and Carla was puzzled by her lack of action. Later Aadi told Asha how the lad threatened him with a wrench and forced him to empty the safe. Asha assures him it's not his fault and he's the victim of a crime and encouraged him to report it. Aadi told PC Jess what happened claiming the robber made off with £6k in cash. But when Bernie clocked his shifty demeanour, it didn't take her long to crack him and discover the truth about the insurance plot. But as she quizzes Aadi about whether he's up for the full scam and all the lying it entails, they were interrupted by Dev's return. Last year, her spokesperson denied that she and Ricky had got engaged, and said any confusion stemmed from Katie's penchant for wearing jewellery on different fingers. The fresh makeover comes after a huge blaze tore through the iconic Weatherfield property, leaving it completely gutted. Eileen, played by Sue Cleaver, told her heartbroken boyfriend George she didn't love him anymore before hopping in a cab with son Jason and announcing: 'I'm moving to Thailand.' Theo explains to his teenage daughter, that he can't return to live with her mum, his ex, because "it didn't feel right," after realising he was attracted to men and wanted to see where is his relationship with Todd went. George realised how Theo's speech moved Eileen and went to confront her after she'd been at the police who had just cleared her of any wrongdoing in Julie's death. The Sun exclusively revealed in January that she had quit the show after 25 years on the Salford set to look for new acting opportunities. 'The door is still firmly open but as I reached my 60th year, I decided it was time to embrace change, look for new adventures and live fearlessly,' she explained. One of Sue's major next steps is to become a a regular panellist on Loose Women after first appearing on the daytime panel show in 2023. Sue took a break from Corrie last year to star in Sister Act The Musical as Mother Superior and appeared in reality show I'm A Celebrity in 2022. Last year, Sue released her memoir A Work In Progress and revealed she was embracing being in her 60s.
