Observing the analytics shared by NTA for CUET UG 2024 results that were announced on July 28, the state with the highest number of applicants is Uttar Pradesh. Last year, 3,47,736 students registered for the exam, and 2,96,858 students appeared for the CUET UG admissions. Following Uttar Pradesh, Delhi has the second-most applicants with 1,56,412 registered students and 1,37,145 appeared students. What is the normalisation process? The states having low applications are Lakshadweep, with just 16 students registering for the exam and only eight appearing for it.
