UG admissions via CUET scores to begin next week, counselling likely to be online
Indore: Devi Ahilya Vishwavidyalaya (DAVV) is set to commence admission process for its undergraduate courses based on CUET-UG scores starting next week. The university received the candidate data from National Testing Agency (NTA) on Wednesday and began preparations for merit list formulation. CUET admissions chairman at DAVV Dr Rajesh Sharma said,"We will soon open registrations for undergraduate counselling through CUET-UG. Students can register via the university website." While the mode of counselling is yet to be finalised, online counselling is currently the most probable format. "Offline counselling was under consideration, but there is a higher possibility of it being conducted online," Sharma added. The counselling process is likely to begin by July-end. The CUET-UG 2025 exams were conducted from May 13 to June 5 across multiple computer-based test centres nationwide, including Indore. The results were announced by NTA on July 4. Based on the student data provided by the NTA, the university will prepare its merit list and hold meetings to finalise the counselling schedule. The University of Delhi has launched Phase 2 of undergraduate admissions for the 2025–26 academic year under its Common Seat Allocation System (CSAS-UG).
