Cadbury unveils new Bournville flavours and there's one people can't wait to try
The new flavours of the classic dark chocolate bar were shared on Facebook and many shoppers were excited to try them
Chocolate lovers are buzzing with the news of new Cadbury Bourneville flavours hitting the shelves, and fans of the dark choclate are luck as there are two fresh varieties now up for grabs.
Fresh on the heels of a new Cadbury Dairy Milk Biscoff Bar being introduced, Bournville enthusiasts can now savour a salted caramel flavour, as well as a chopped hazelnut variant that also features salted caramel. The sweet update was shared on Facebook by Snack News and Reviews, complete with snapshots of the new bars and a tip-off that they were spotted on the supermarket shelves at Sainsbury's. Their post read: "New Cadbury Bournville Flavours! Simply Indulgent Salted Caramel and Simply Chunky Chopped Hazelnut with Salted Caramel.
"Fresh look for the range with a packaging design refresh. Seen in Sainsbury's. Hitting other stores soon."
The announcement has stirred excitement among chocoholics and shoppers, with one person commenting: "I need these."
The Salted Caramel flavour in particular seemed to be a hit, as one person said: "I'd go with the Salted Caramel. Dark chocolate usually has a bitter taste but not always."
While someone else remarked: "That salted caramel one looks incredible."
Meanwhile, another individual prompted their partner to "look out for" the Salted Caramel variety next time they're shopping.
Another tagged a friend, suggesting that the Chopped Hazelnut bar was 'definitely made for them'.
Despite the wave of enthusiasm, one individual grumbled: "I'm a fan of Bournville chocolate and the orange one, but we need more exciting flavours than these, been done to death.
"I wanna see a decent raspberry chocolate on the market or some fruity dark choc twists."
Customers will have the chance to purchase both new flavours, carrying a suggested retail price (RRP) of £2.20, in shops across the country starting later this month.
The products are already featured on Sainsbury's website, although they're not yet up for grabs.
