Islamic leaders have failed to speak out against ‘hate-filled' Haddad
Sky News host Caleb Bond has called out Muslim organisations for failing to condemn the 'rancid, hate-filled' preachings of Wissam Haddad. This comes after the Islamic cleric was found to have breached the Racial Discrimination Act section 18C as his lectures contained content which could 'offend, insult, humiliate and intimidate' Australian Jews. 'Muslim organisations in Australia have failed to condemn the rancid, hate-filled preachings of Haddad,' Mr Bond told Sky News Australia. 'This pondscum doesn't believe in democracy, has advocated for jihad and has supported ISIS.'

Sky News host Caleb Bond discusses the case against Muslim preacher Wissam Haddad and how he was found to have breached the racial discrimination act. 'I do not think 18C should exist, I think it is a handbrake on free speech and it has, on many occasions, been weaponised against genuine debate in this country, just as it was against our colleague here at Sky News, Andrew Bolt, 14 years ago,' Mr Bond said. 'My point is, that it is not the law's job to stop people from being racist and it never will stop people from being racist, because even if they stop saying stuff openly, they will still say it privately and their garbage will simply go underground. 'I want to make it clear, I have always been opposed to 18C, I still am opposed to 18C and that does not change because in this case I am more sympathetic to those who took on an Islamic preacher.'

TikTok ‘don't want to sell' despite facing a nationwide ban in the United States
President Donald Trump is expected to extend the deadline for TikTok to break ties with its China-based parent company ByteDance and find a US buyer or face a nationwide ban amid national security concerns. Sky News host Caleb Bond has accused TikTok of not wanting to sell its China-based parent company. 'They don't want to sell it. They are playing Trump for a fool here, and he ought to turn around and say, 'if you haven't been able to sell it by now, too bloody bad, you're banned until you've done it,'' Mr Bond said.
