Oregon Ducks commit Koloi Keli wins OL MVP award at UA Maui Camp
The Oregon Ducks have had a long list of highly-rated players commit to the program over the past couple of weeks, including 5-star Immanuel Iheanacho and 5-star safety Jett Washington. It's understandable that during that stretch, a commitment from a 3-star might fly under the radar, but OL Koloi Keli is doing what he can to make some noise. Keli, one of Oregon's newest additions, turned heads at this weekend's Under Armour Maui Camp, winning the offensive line MVP award. Keli is rated as the No. 87 interior offensive lineman in the 2026 class, and one of three OL commits that the Ducks added in the past week, alongside Iheanacho and 4-star OL Tommy Tofi. Both Tofi and Keli were previously committed to the California Golden Bears before backing off of their commitments and joining the Ducks. Keli stands at 6-foot-3, 290 pounds, and projects to play either guard or center down the road in Eugene. Oregon currently has the No. 11 recruiting class in the 2026 cycle, with a few highly-rated targets left to come off of the board in the next couple of weeks. 3-star OL Koloi Keli flips commitment from California Golden Bears to Oregon Ducks
Dan Lanning kicked off the week with some good news on the recruiting front for the Oregon Ducks, landing a big-time flip on the trail. News broke on Monday morning that the Ducks are flipping 3-star offensive lineman Koloi Keli from the California Golden Bears, bringing him in as an interior offensive lineman. Keli is coming in at 6-foot-3, 290 pounds, and is rated as the No. 87 OL in the class. Advertisement Keli came on a visit to Oregon earlier this month alongside fellow Cal commit Tommy Tofi, one of Oregon's top flip targets this offseason. There is a belief that the two might join Oregon as a package deal, but we will have to see if the Ducks can complete the other half of that. The Ducks now have 11 players committed in the 2026 class, which is rated as the No. 22 best in the nation. There are a number of highly-rated players left on Oregon's recruiting board set to commit in the near future, too, such as 5-star OT Immanuel Iheanacho, 4-star OT Kelvin Obot, 5-star LB Tyler Atkinson, 4-star CB Davon Benjamin, and many others. Highly-rated Oregon OL target announces commitment days before visit to Ducks
Highly-rated Oregon OL target announces commitment days before visit to Ducks The Oregon Ducks are preparing for the start of an incredibly busy recruiting month this weekend, with a ton of high-profile official visits on tap over the next several weeks. Unfortunately for Dan Lanning and Co., one of the top visits that they had scheduled is now in doubt. On Tuesday morning, it was announced that 4-star IOL Tommy Tofi, the No. 97 player in the class and No. 6 IOL, would be committing to the California Golden Bears. Tofi, who stands at 6-foot-6, 330 pounds, was scheduled to take his official visit to Oregon this weekend, but that trip is now in question coming off of his commitment to Justin Wilcox and the Golden Bears. Tofi is a San Francisco kid who has been near the top of Oregon's recruiting board for a long time and a big target in the offensive line room. He is coming off of an official visit to California last weekend, so the timing is understandable for him to make his commitment from that perspective, but he did have OVs scheduled to Oregon this weekend, followed by trips to Tennessee and BYU. While he is verbally committed at the moment, it would come as no surprise to see A'lique Terry and his team continue to push in his recruitment and try to flip him to the Ducks before signing day takes place in December. This will be one to keep an eye on. Contact/Follow @Ducks_Wire on X (formerly Twitter) and like our page on Facebook to follow ongoing coverage of Oregon Ducks news, notes, and opinions.

Dawn Staley Sends Message to South Carolina Players' Major Life Update
Dawn Staley is staying busy this spring as she shifts her focus toward summer preparations with the South Carolina Gamecocks. The Hall of Fame coach has been active on the recruiting trail, diving into the transfer portal while also promoting her new book on tour. It's graduation season across the country, and many college basketball players are completing their degrees. Some are returning for a final season on the court. Advertisement Staley recently sent a heartfelt message to two of her players who graduated Saturday. One will return for another season with South Carolina, while the other is heading to a new destination for 2025–26. "THE @GamecockWBB GRADUATES! Congrats to @HollywoodRaven @SakimaWalker for finishing the academic race…degree them! I love this part more than anyone will ever know," Staley posted. Raven Johnson and Sakima Walker both earned their undergraduate degrees. Johnson is returning to play one more season with the Gamecocks, while Walker is transferring to finish her career with the California Golden Bears. Advertisement Johnson was part of the Gamecocks that won the title in 2022 and 2024, although she missed all but two games in the 2021-22 season due to a knee injury. In Columbia, she appeared in 114 games and started all 39 last season. A former Naismith Prep Player of the Year, Johnson starred at Westlake High School in Atlanta. South Carolina Gamecocks coach Dawn Lee-Imagn Images Walker joined South Carolina after two under-the-radar seasons at Rutgers. In her two seasons with the Gamecocks, she played in 46 games and made one start. She averaged 1.8 points per game. As Staley heads into her 18th season at the helm, South Carolina remains a powerhouse in women's college basketball. Under her leadership, the Gamecocks have reached at least the Final Four five years in a row, with three appearances in the national championship game.
